Withholding of Client Funds and Unprofessional Communication

I engaged Credit Fix 6207 (Pty) Ltd to assist with debt recovery for my school. To date, I have not received full payment of the amounts reportedly collected on my behalf. Despite several written requests, the company has failed to provide a complete statement of account or confirm that funds were deposited into a compliant trust account as required by the Debt Collectors Act. What I found particularly concerning was the tone of correspondence received from a representative of their “legal department” — someone who is reportedly still studying law and not a practising attorney. This individual issued legal threats and accusations, which I believe were inappropriate and unprofessional given the circumstances. I have submitted a formal complaint to the Council for Debt Collectors and am awaiting their investigation. I would encourage others to carefully review all terms and insist on full financial transparency when engaging with this company.
