Booked a night at Waterfall Guesthouse through the special on Daddy's deal. Due to book in on 30th Aug, I phoned the Guesthouse just after 17h00 to confirm we are on our way. The receptionist then confirmed that we need to pay an additional R200 because we are LATE. I did not even know that check in is only till 17:00, no where was this stated, only that check in is from 14:00, its not as if they are preparing dinner. Arriving there she called Anthony the owner I assume, to whom I then said I will not be paying the extra R200 as we were not notified of it. He then told me and my husband that this R200 is for the Receptionist overtime as she worked from 7h00 and had to wait for us. I then Told him that I am sure he does not want another Bad Review on TripAdvisor that he already have and he told me that he does not care cause clearly that does not have an effect as his place is fully booked. My point then was, if you are so fully booked then why don't you pay your staff overtime. He then told us either pay or there is the door leave!!! So we left. I want to make people aware of this Arrogant Owner and warn you to be careful of what you book through Daddy's deal
