I called in at ABSA to cancel my credit card. 2 weeks later they refuse to cancel my card not telling me status of my cancellation. Meanwhile there are transactions happening on my card that I cannot stop. My reason for cancelling was their bad service to start with. Today when I called to enquire on the status of the cancellation, then I'm suddenly told that I failed security questions blah blah. They are just stalling the process so then can continue to charge card. Shame on your ABSA.
Stay away. None of their tariffs are accurate. They update nothing. You will lose a lot of money. Clearly they have no built-in Medprax. They will never respond to any form of communication. Their system deliberately double bill to increase their revenue as they charge per claim. The biggest ****mers in medical billing. You're best off with proper billing software.
I booked a hotel via booking.com The booking included a free airport shuttle to the hotel. Attempt to book the free shuttle failed as it kept saying the flight number does not exist. This was impossible as I had an accurate flight number. Attempts to contact booking.com via messages and phones was unsuccessful. Phones were dropped and messages were ignored up until the hotel money was paid over to them. Just like that I was ****med. I had to pay the shuttle from my pocket. I was lured by the promise for free shuttle which was obviously a ****. Save your money and book directly with hotels Once the money for the hotel was paid over to the hotel, it was impossible
ABSA home insurance, your service is beyond shocking. I'm writing for the 2nd time on your shoddy work. You keep on sending *********** companies to our properties who don't solve any issues but rather escalate them. Geysers you supposedly fixed are still giving us problems. Instead of honoring the guarantee your companies diagnose non existing problems on Geysers that are actually working. The plumber kept fiddling with my geysers that are working on geyserwise and now we're left with no hot water in entire house.
ABSA home insurance the absolute worst. Stay away! I logged a claim about geyser not heating up water on the 21st April. ABSA send out the 1st company to inspect. The company reported that the problem is outside their scope of work. ABSA send out 2nd company that started working on the twin geysers and unfortunately problem was still not sorted but what resulted from their work was a burst geyser. ABSA demanded that I pay an excess of R800 to get the very same geyser replaced which I did. After geyser was replaced the problem persisted. Was again told by the very 2nd company that the problem was outside their scope of work. ABSA send a 3rd company that worked on the twin geysers again to sort out the problem. 30 minutes of 3rd company leaving my property, again without succeeding on resolving issue, the 2nd geyser burst and water was gushing out all over my house. This was now in the middle of the night. ABSA send a 4th company to urgently isolate and close off water supply to entire house. Now was left not only without hot water but without water at all since 3rd May. The following day ABSA informed me they are sending a 5th company to replace the 2nd geyser but will need yet another excess for 2nd geyser. To them this is an entirely new claim so that they can justify a new excess. The 2 geysers were both burst after ABSA companies worked on them. My geysers are barely 3 years old as this is a new property. The 3rd company conceded that the bursting was as a result of abnormal electrical surge when they switched them on. ABSA has now abandoned my claim saying I refuse to pay additional excess. Why should I keep paying while you send out companies unable to resolve my issue but instead leave me with not only one geyser bursting but 2. You need to be identifying why geysers sitting next to each other are bursting one after the other upon your companies working on them and stop bullying me to continue paying excesses of problem you're not even sorting out at all. My property is without water since 3rd May.
This company is fraudulent to the core. Through someone who was involved in building of my house, this company had invoices issued in their name when they did no work whatsoever on my property. The plan was to claim VAT fraudulently. The owner Jeremiah Putswa Bokaba had the guts to accuse me of abusing him when I spoke out about his fraudulent activities using our property. Stay very far from this company and the owner.
My solar inverter was damaged by lightning. Logged in a claim almost 6 months ago to no avail. Made numerous communication to ABSA both e mail and telephonically and I'm not getting assistance. For a premium of 24 000 a year this is unacceptable.
ABSA homeloan your customer service is horrendous. I have encountered problems after problems with the homeloan department. We went to a branch to request that our installment stay the same. We spent almost an hour there. Seemingly nothing was done because we keep on getting notification of installment going up and down so often. This past week I would say 3 times as funds are moved from flexi reserve. Today I call homeloan department and was holding for a good 30 minutes only for my call to get dropped. How pathetic is that?
ABSA home loan you are truly one of a kind. 1st you double debit our accounts for the monthly installment and now you take off money from the Flexi reserve facility instead of the normal debit order. I will not wait to see what else you have up your sleeves as I will be moving the bond to a bank that is deserving of the business and actually respect their customers. Now I believe the bond originator who once advised that a homeloan with ABSA comes with never ending headaches.
I bought a Sony Xa1 cellphone for R2999.00 from Incredible connection Kollonade on 16th April 2019. Barely a month into using this phone it just went dead. I took it back to the store and was told it will be sent in to be checked. Was only contacted a month or so later and told my phone has liquid damage and will cost pretty much same amount as purchase price to fix. I am not aware of my phone coming into contact with water in first place. Why would a repair price be similar to purchase price? Seems to me Incredible connection is passing faulty problematic phones over to us unsuspecting buyers only to turn around and give lame excuses. It appears they know that their rejects are as good as dead hence they rather give a fixing amount equal to a new gadget for them to make a hefty profit in the process. Before this I bought a phone charger there and in barely a week it stopped working too. I couldn't return it because I had lost the slip.
