Moobacon Shady Software Deals
This seller advertises a list of software for sale and sends regular e-mails with specials on sale. My experience has been that this business is a scam. The majority of the programs purchased have problems with the serial numbers that either don’t work or have been used before. Both VPN deals that I purchased cannot connect. She ignores all e-mails for help or replacements, so my advice is to stay away unless you want to waste money.

Software Scam by seller Moobacon@gmail.com
“Liezel Coetzee” is selling software registration keys under the e-mail address moobacon999@gmail.com and asks for upfront payment before providing download details and registration keys. One paid, you never hear from her again and all follow up e-mails are ignored.

Another Afrihost Rotten Tomato?
I applied for a fibre connection on 18 May 2021 and when I heard nothing further by 11 June, I followed up telephonically and AH could not explain why they hadn’t placed the installation order with Openserve. It was only done after this call. Received AH e-mail that the order has been done and they would keep me updated with progress. This never happened and I followed up again on 18th June. I was then informed that the installation was booked for Friday 25th June between 08:00 and 10:00. I waited all day, but Openserve never turned up. i folled AH up again and was told earliest next installation slot was 1st July between 12:00 and 14:00. Again I waited all day and Openserve never turned up. Not once had Afrihost contacted me with any updates or apologies. After 6 more follow ups, I received a forwarded message from Openserve that the installation was part of the home-connect program, no further info. Still no idea when I will be connected. Followed up again and was told that the installation is queued. This has now been 9 weeks since date of my application and as my ISP, Afrihost has not contacted me once with any update or explanation. As at 11th July, I still have no idea when I will eventually be connected. So once again Afrihost has demonstrated their absolute lack of client experience management.
