We visited Wimpy Queenswood today for the first time since their opening, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing — both in terms of quality and portion size. We ordered breakfast, and the bacon that was served was supposed to be back bacon, but instead it looked and tasted artificial. The pork sausages were bland and partially undercooked. In addition, the coffee frappé I ordered did not taste like coffee at all. What made the experience even more frustrating is that we have visited other Wimpy branches over the past week, where the food was fresh, well-prepared, and portions were generous — with real bacon served as expected. Based on today’s experience, it feels as though Wimpy Queenswood is cutting corners, and unfortunately the customer is the one paying the price. This is not the standard one expects from the Wimpy brand.
We purchased a 2018 Ford Ranger Double Cab from Tumi in October 2024. Since then, I have been repeatedly following up regarding the spare key, which I still have not received. This is completely unacceptable. When I traded in my previous vehicle, both the key and spare key were handed over without delay. Nearly a year has passed, and despite speaking to Tumi at least twice a week, there has been no resolution. Their after-sales service has been extremely disappointing. They do not even answer their emails
This is what our pharmacy services is coming to, so disappointing. E-Mail from me to MediPost. This is unacceptable, your agent claim you dispatched double 60 pills instead of 30 pills for 2 months but my prescription says 60 pills per month 1 twice a day. Now my meds is not enough and I am in pain, what is MediPost going to do about ny suffering because of their fault. We always have to struggle to get our prescriptions accepted or our medication dispatched. I am very disappointed in the meat we got in our month pack. The pork chops are once again cut so thin you can almost see through them and the cooked meat is almost just bones. This is not what we are used to at C & E. They offer that I bring the meat back and exchange it but that doesn't sound hygienic at all, because now I take it back and then they're going to give it to someone else as soon as my back is turned, that also tells me the chances are good that I got meat coming from someone else's house. We are not satisfied at all with the excuses and service
Today was the second time we went to The Roadhouse 2.0 for Sunday lunch, and let me tell you it was excellent. The food quality and quantity was wow, we enjoyed it thoroughly and the service was excellent and with a smile. We love all the food that we ate at The Roadhouse 2.0 but the Sunday lunch with its pudding is definitely our favourite from them. The milkshakes flavours was also on point, loved it. Well done guys.
We were at Brewers BBQ Waverley today and what a disappointment. We ordered the grilled chicken salad and a toasted cheese. The salad was the size of a side salad for R98.50 and the toasted cheese was the price of a block of cheese almost R50. I think it is ridiculous that the portions keep getting smaller and the prices keep going up. That salad does not cost almost a R100 to make. And the service was not the greatest either, the waitress was not very helpful or friendly
We were at Roadhouse 2.0 on 31 July 2024 to order some dinner. We received the menu and decided on footlong russian rolls. The lady took our order just to return and inform us there is only 1 bun for the footlongs, we then ordered hamburgers instead and a while later another lady came to inform us that they do not have buns at all. We left and got food elsewhere. My question is what eatery does not have buns on month end when take out places are at their busiest
We were at safari supermarket & takeaway cnr 839 Steve Biko rd and Ben Swart str Pretoria on Saturday 3 Aug 2024 and the experience was horrible. Their contact number is 074 229 8520 We ordered pap and meat and salad for R37 a plate like one their menu and we were over charged, they charged us R38 for the pap and meat and then were told there is only a russian salad they can give us and the charged us R10 extra for the salad which on the menu was included in the pap and meat price which they also overcharged us for. The people were not friendly at all and the service was very bad. The salad they gave us was so bad we almost threw up when we tasted it, we had to throw it away it was so bad. I would never suggest that anybody buy food there ever again and that the department of health check out that salad because there was definitely something wrong with it
We purchased a battery from Willard Battery Express cnr Ben Swart str and Steve Biko str, Pretoria on 21/12/2022 but now the battery has failed and they refuse to help us because due to unforseen circumstances we do not have the slip anymore. They insists that Willard demand the slip. They did not have a problem taking our money when we baught the battery but now that the battery is faulty they are not willing to accommodate us. I think this is daylight *******, a money making scheme by giving people batteries that are not 100% effective and then denying them help because they could not hold on to a slip, but they engraved the baught date onto the battery
They are robbing the people with their chips sizes and prices. A large chips from them is a regular chips at the shop on the corner and they charge R57 for it but it is actually worth R17. The quality and the quantity is not worth the price they ask for it. Very disappointing, most places is fair with their prices, quality and quantity. Not worth the travel
