I have been attempting to cancel my membership since 6 September 2021. Various emails have been sent without a mere acknowledgment of my request. Even worst than Telkom. Who would have thought this is even possible.
I confirm that on advice from Toyota I went to 4x4 Megaworld yesterday to enquire whether they are able to install the lighter for the vehicle. They informed me it will be possible but that it will void the warranty on the vehicle. I find it unacceptable that I had to book my car with Toyota to only be advised later during the day that it will not be possible to fit the lighter as per my request. Toyota had the vehicle for a full day for no reason at all. I should have been informed of this when I purchased the lighter initially. I have furthermore discovered since leaving the premises that it appears that Toyota did attempt to fit the light but only realized after the fact that it is not possible. I say this because the dashboard has not been put back properly as it is skew and not properly fitted. The Bluetooth system also started cutting out after the vehicle was left with Toyota yesterday. I find this level of service to be unacceptable. Not only did Toyota sell me a part that is not capable of being fitted to the vehicle, but did Toyota also refer me to a fitment center which would have resulted in the voiding of the warranty of the vehicle. To make the situation worse Toyota did not even go through the effort to ensure that the dashboard was properly put back in the vehicle. This is really poor workmanship from your branch. I expect that Toyota to refund me the purchase price of the lighter immediately. For what it is worth I will escalate my concerns with how this matter was dealt with by Toyota Culemborg as far as possible. I am really disgusted with the level of service I received.
