On the 29th of March I decided to go and try my luck at the Emperors Casino despite of my previous bad experience last year around 1st March where money was stolen out of my card with no traces or whatsoever.(And Hello Peter came to my rescue)It happened again It started with me taking my daughter to the Jupiters where the most unfriendly staff approach you with no sense of customer service,got my daughter registered to stay in till 11pm, (my daughter later on advised that the teachers are very rude and gives the kids attitude most of the time) My name was then called from an announcement/speakers by the Casino (which made me think that i had won a prize or something.)I left my card in the slot machine rushing to the desk.Where i met a lady from the creche asking me if i wasn't looking at the time, that it was after 11pm and that her transport will leave her behind because of people like me who leaves their kids to leave later then the given time. We got to the creche and then met a very abusive staff member Precious Mdletshane who attacked me with words to a point where i decided to snap pictures of herself.I succeeded to snap a couple of pictures (not knowing that my phone will get stolen) however between the creche,casino floor and restrooms lost my phone.(I hate to make accusation however I find it very strange that i lost it after taking pictures of the lady) I then went to report this to 1 of the managers Peter who then dumped me to deal with the slots manager MMELI who then past from one person to another after failing to assist me since they could not trace the money that was left in my card when i went to Jupiters.I then asked my daughter to go and look for my phone at the restrooms where she was stopped and intimidated by security officers who asked her questions she couldn't answer as a child,Because of the fact that i was asked by Mmeli not to leave the Casino spot while he was investigating my card issue this is why i asked my daughter to go and find my phone so long,well after a little while Mmeli told me that he could only trace TWO HUNDRED AND SOMETHING RANDS in the card not the EIGHT HUNDRED AND SOMETHING RANDS that i had left.I went to look for my daughter whom i met at the Security entrance been intimidated and cross questioned by the guards.When i asked to see the manager,Security members came instead throwing blames of me neglecting my child and all, refusing to show me the footage of my movements.And then came with Mzamo who was even ruder that them all.That was when i asked them to find my mother who admitted to how dodgy and unfair i was treated at the Casino. I would like to follow up on exactly hat had happened to my Cellphone and the money that was left in my card.And that since this occurrence of loosing funds in the card was not the first that i had encountered how many more to expect with this Casino.I mean what happens to people that wins more than what I had in my card.I don't feel safe in that casino and believe that the team somehow orks together to remove traces of money left in our cards How much of this bad treatment can i get from this Casino though.I am very dissapointed
The most disastrous complementary stay.i am not sure whether I was treated in this manner because of it being free or if it is how Sun international treats all it's clients .It started with an innocent request when I called to confirm my stay and asked for a late check out since i would arrive after 8pm for check in but the gentleman refused and told me that if it was anytime during the week he would.he kept on asking me to repeat myself as if he wasn't sure.I then asked for his name and position ( Enerst Machila) so I waited to get to the hotel to clarify with someone else however got assisted by Michael who was very negative towards me and made me feel very uncomfortable.Even when I passed a remark about the parking lot being distant from the hotel he quickly dismissed it and called me lazy,that I needed that extra walk (work out/stretch)whatever it meant.He didn't bother asking if there was anything else we needed instead when I asked about a late check out he said No without even hearing what I had to say,as if though he was already expecting me to siWe then asked whr the room was and he just pointed to us,to my surprise 246,was further down the corridor,we honestly neede someone to literally walk us half way to show us where it was because we ended up walking around trying to figure out where this was. Mind you i am with my mom at that time.So then I decided to let it go and walk around the surrounding,beside my bad experience at the desk I loved it The Carousel has not changed a bit,it's well maintained and neat.My mom decided that we should extend our stay so I went back to reception to find a different lady whom I enquired about the rates from,She told me that there were no rates available and that I should ask the following day,I couldn't understand her answer so I asked her to roughly estimate how much it could cost me to extend my stay and she said anything between R1900 and two thousand something (whatever that meant) And then without looking at her computer she asked me if I am Tshabalala (to my surprise) I answered Yes asking myself how she knew my last name,her next question was where was I from.I feel like this Complementary stay was given to me to Humiliate and embarrass me.i had the most sleepless night worried about making it on time for a normal check out without being kicked out or having to pay extra as Michael said.I then had Goitsemang call our room to check if we had left the room at 11:20 yet or however she spoke well and explained that there was no Handover regarding my late check out and she apologize and extended the courtesy of showing us around.Gave me information about the different rates and packages offered (she is a professional that understands how important it is to give good hospitality to her guests),got us a shuttle and again as part of this bad experience as we drove to the Chalet while sitting at the back seat the fire extinguisher fell on my leg because it wasn't well secured (talk about bad a experience) .I regret accepting this offer and bringing such misery.I hate it here and will never forget my experience.Sun international gave me another complementary stay at Carnival City I am very sceptical about it.if allowed I would like to pass it to someone else.I am worried about what would happen next.unless if I could be assured otherwise
<p>Lindiwe new number ********** 901</p> <p>The 1st March started good and ended up being the worst day of my life thanks to emperors palace casino</p> <p>I played slots machines and won some cash withdrew it and left R275 in my gamers card that was the beginning of my nightmare.</p> <p><br />Someone got hold of my card changed my pin without my knowledge and withdrew the remaining amount in the card but the strange thing about this is that I didn't even know this.</p> <p><br />I went to the cashier desk entered the pin and was told that I had a wrong pin and that my card will be blocked.</p> <p><br />I left the casino to come back the following day,inserted the card in the machine and there was no money when I went to enquiries that was wen I was notified of the money transaction which I had no clue about but hey instead I was asked to wait while an investigation took place the most disturbing fact is that after waiting a good 2hours I was then given the name Ephenuis the cashier who seemed to help change my pin code and released the money from my card however the slot manager then asked to return the following day for they could not make out how this happened.this took place at 12:35pm apparently when I only arrived at 18:30 meaning that this withdrawal took place in my absence.</p> <p>I asked if I could not just get my money in my card but was advised to come back the following day when results from surveillance came.These people didn't not care about how I get to them from Pretoria they were inconsiderate.told me that I would not get reimbursed for my getting there because of their own negligence.</p> <p><br />I was then called by Winnie who confirmed that I didn't not withdraw the money and that I should come back to the casino to get the cash back when I asked her about reimbur*****t she then told me that she would escalate this further as she could not authorize such.</p> <p><br />I then went there yesterday only to be given my money back by Winnie who didn't really take this up with higher management all she did was apologize to me give my money and hey I was just dumped like that.I would like for hello Peter to help me get compensated please</p>
