Premiums increase and benefits are reduced
I would like to know how can the premiums be increased by 11.9% (R894 x 12 = R10 728 pa) which is way above CPI for 2024 and how the benefits can be reduced. The increase is more than a month's premium. I am referring to the benefits above the threshold that are now limited to R35 000. This is unacceptable and I would like to receive an explanation in this regard.

Discovery Travel - Misleading advertising
Discovery travel advertises that you get discounts on local and international flights. In my case I got 20% discount. I made a booking for 2 people. I do agree the discount is only for me as a Vitality member. On the day I made the booking the price of the tickets were exactly the same on the airlines website and on Vitaly Travel site R4831 per ticket.So if I bought the tickets on the airlines website the total price would be R4831 x 2 = R9662. When I bought the tickets on the Vitality Travel website the total price was (R4831-R772 discount) + R4831 for full price ticket. Plus a booking fee of R920. Total cost R9810, R148 more than if I bought the tickets directly from the airline. So the advertising that you get 20 % discount is false advertising. In affect I paid R148 more for the tickets because of the booking Fee of R920. So there were no discount on the transaction.

Don't ever use Richerts Interiors
I asked David to quote to do some skirting and door profiles. He came out to do the quote. He promised that he could deliver at a certain date. He asked a 70% deposit which I paid (R11 000). After seven promised dates he still not respond. He does not phone you or answer the phones. I eventually had to get some one els to do the job. I have asked for my money back and no response. Please don't use David Richerts Interiors!!!
