I bought a Hisense tv at Makro Crown mines at 12:29, Freddy switched it on so I can see it working, Yes it turned on, but then he struggled putting it in the box, then he put it on a trolley. When I got home, I put the tv on the bed, so I could put the stands, and then when I switched it on, the screen had cracked. I called Freddy immediately from 13:38 until 13:56 and he was not answering my calls. I then decided to go to the shop, and the guy by the name of Basil tells me that for the fact that I saw the tv working, they are not promising to change the tv. I told him anything could have happened when the tv was put back on the box or on the trolley. there is no way I am paying 5999 and being given a broken TV and I have to accept it. is it because I am a woman, dealing with an arrogant manager, no I refuse. I left the TV at the store and hope that I will be called to collect a new one, or they deliver a new one. blame is put on me because I saw it on, no, as I say, anything could have happened when it was put back on the box and put on the trolley. Imagine I had a new tv for an hour. I hope this matter will be resolved as soon as possible. Basil does not have any customer care etiquettes whatsoever.
Planet Fitness - Newtown Junction does not have at least warm water to shower after gym. I have raised the issue with them for months. Through winter we showered with cold water through out. Till today the water is still cold. I got sick twice for showering with cold water. One has to go back home to shower after gym and I work in Braamfontein.
Thuli and Themba Zungu were supposed to get married on Saturday, 28 March 2015. Unfortunately Themba was killed Monday, 9 March 2015. They had already paid R6000.00 to secure the venue and Thuli signed the form to secure the venue. They then deposited R100 000.00 on 18 February 2015. When Corrie was informed of Themba's death she said that the contract that Thuli signed stated that they would not get a refund. We asked her for how many people could she cater for with the R106 00.00. She said she could cater for 100 people not as initially planned for 400 people. We then discussed as a family that we could not allow Thuli to go to the place where she was suppose to get married and expect her to be fine. We then met with Corrie and her husband Sampie Morris to discuss the matter further. The agreement was that they would forgo the balance of R75 00.00. We requested that as she was going to cater for 100 people on 28 March 2015 she must refund Thuli the amount that she was going to use. She then said that she is going to discuss with her attoney..She responded on email on 26 March 2015 that she is not refunding anything. Thuli didnt sign any contract but to secure a venue.
