I am getting nowhere in reaching someone that can assist me. I call the CT number just to hold on and be cut off without someone answering. In 2019 my dad was advised that a trench needs to be dug for the putting down of fibre lines in Fish Hoek. (see more on my email below to Frogfoot, who advised me that this job was done by Link Africa and therefore not their responsibility and that I need to contact you directly). After the work was completed, my dad advised that his gate rail has “dropped” together with the ground and that his gate is no longer operational due to it...in other words the rail took strain by opening and closing it. The motor has also now stopped working and the gate needs to be opened manually, with a massive struggle. Frogfoot EVENTUALLY went out in the 3rd week of March this year and wiped their hands and said contact Link Africa. My dad is 73 years OLD, struggling with ill health, and he is battling to open and close the gate manually each and every day when his partner goes to work and returns. I feel this should be rectified by the defaulting party, who Frogfoot claims is Link Africa. The problem I have is my dad is being put from pillar to post, despite reporting this several times. And my MAIN concern is, if he needs an ambulance in the near future, and the gate won’t open, we have a HUGE problem.
I have contacted Arbor Designs in December requesting a quote.Riand? emailed back and after I asked her to submit a quote based on my drawing, she advised she will send it shortly. Since then I have emailed Riand? numerous times....called and left messages for the owner, spoke to Tarryn who said she will get back to me, still weeks later still nothing. My aim was to have council approval by now and have it installed before I move into our new home on 10 Feb in Langebaan. It seems like my R26000 job is not worth their while and I will have to find another supplier! !!!!
