We had an absolute nightmare. The day started off with the truck arriving 2.5 hours late. I phoned to follow up and was told that they’ll be there any minute. When they eventually arrived they did not have the necessary material to wrap and package. I also paid a premium for packing and unpacking services which never took place as they arrived 2.5 hours late. On the way to the new house the staff opened one of my premium Whiskey Collections and got so drunk that they dropped various pieces of furniture from the top of the truck all the way on the tar. The inside of the house suffered as well as they knocked off the plaster on the corners of just about every room. I phoned the company and they assured me that the manager is on their way, but never arrived. I subsequently phoned on the Monday to report the issues, but never got a call back despite several promises. I eventually got a hold of the owner who had the most arrogant attitude I’ve ever experienced. He absolutely refused to take responsibility and told me that you move at your own risk.
I phoned the company pn Monday 15 June to install a change over switch for my new generator. Willem informed me that he will get someone to contact me and confirm a time. Long story short, this never happened and I phoned Willem again on Wednesday 17 June, since the 16th was a public holiday. He then informed me that they are fully booked? I thought they guarantee same day service? Willem informed me that someone will be at my house at 08:00 Thursday morning. Noboby pitched or phoned. I phoned Willem and told him that I'm not satisfied with the service I received. Willem asked me whether I would rather like to make use of someone else. To which I replied, well if you show customers away that easy then yes it's maybe better. Willem responded well F..k Off then... My word, I was absolutely dumbstruck...
