Hands down the one of the best online shopping experience I’ve had. I ordered a Singo 2000 Pro from Energy Independence Power Provider on Friday, March 13th, and was amazed when the courier collected it just an hour after I placed the order! The power station was delivered and running by Monday, March 16th—an incredible turnaround for an online purchase. Beyond the speed, the after-sales support was impressive. I had some questions and reached out via their Whatsapp support line. Nathan responded quickly and was very helpful on WhatsApp, and Neill even followed up with a personal phone call to ensure every last question was answered. It’s rare to find this level of proactive, expert service. They are clearly the gold standard for backup power—efficient, professional, and highly recommended!"
This is a warning to any prospective buyers out there, and I hope whoever considers buying from TVandApplianceDirect read this in time. DO NOT do business with this company. I ordered and paid for the product on 27 February 2018. On 1 March I received and email stating that the delivery is delayed but it will be at their distrubution centres the next Monday (5March). On the 5 March I emailed for an update and received a personal email from the CEO Adam Ainow on the 6th. Asking if I still wanted the product. In the meantime I discovered the various reviews of the company here on HelloPeter and I emailed back (8 March) to cancel my order as I saw what was coming. Adam Ainow replied the same day, promising that I will get my product the next Wednesday (as they will only have it at their distribution centres the next Monday). I reminded him that I already cancelled my order on the 6th (8 March). On 9 March I received confirmation that my order is cancelled and received another email from Adam Ainow promising, and I quote, "you will receive further email shortly from Payfast confirm that your refund has been actioned." On the 12th I emailed and asked about the promised refund and Adam Ainow replied on the 14th that "Please accept my apologies for the delay in confirming your delivery.... however, we can now confirm that the stock will arrive at our warehouse and allow us to shop the stock which will arrive with you on Monday." I replied back that I already cancelled the order, which they confirmed, and was waiting for my refund. And that was the last I heard of him. I have emailed various times with no results. In the end I have emailed Payfast and they replied and started a process to help me. They asked that I give them 48 hours. But to whomever reads this: I hope you read it before buying from TVandApplianceDirect. There are honest companies out there, but it appears as if TVandApplianceDirect is not one of them. Please, save yourself a lot of headaches and stay clear. They were unable to deliver the product I purchased but kept on promising that i

My Local Post Office is dumbfounded, as they are unable to help me. It appears as if a package posted to me was lost and no one can find it. On the 29th of April a package was sent to me with a tracking number (the person who posted the package claims he posted it on the 26th already). It was supposedly sent counter to counter (although I cannot confirm this from my side). When tracking the package online it only shows the following info:

Item Number: TC144823900ZA was last scanned on: 2016/04/29 at 00:01
Location last scanned: JHBNET
Currently has status of: COLL DOC
TRACKING
LINE TYPE DATE TIME BRANCH COMMENTS
1 COLL DOC 2016/04/29 00:01 JHBNET C457298132

I find it unacceptable that no one knows where the parcel is. Also, what does the C457298132 in the comments box mean?

We handed in my wife's Samsung phone for repairs after the screen cracked. The phone was handed in at the local Autopage shop. On 17 March 2015 we received a sms stating that the phone was received for repairs with a job number (R403231). On the 27th March 2015 we received another sms indicating that the phone was allocated to a technician for repairs with a reference number (auto43795). We were told that repairs will take about 14 work days. During April we started making inquiries about the phone, but the local Autopage was unable to help us. After various attempts at a status update I phoned Autopage directly today. The person I spoke to also were unable to help me, since \our network is down."This is unacceptable. They had my phone for 33 work days (excluding the public holidays of the last few weeks). Could someone please tell me where my wife's phone is"
