We are currently in the Manyane chalets utilising our timeshare slot. Prior to arriving we did have some trepidation and concern in view of the COVID shutdown period, and in particular that our emails did not get a response and calls to the listed numbers went unanswered. Within a short while however each of our email queries was responded to, positively and politely. We can also understand that telephone services to the resort may not always be reliable hence the phones not being answered. On arrival we found the reception very professional, the chalet clean and tidy, the grounds maintained, and the resort functional. Our maintenance requests were attended to by extremely pleasant and competent staff, the chalet servicing staff have been excellent. We therefore have no qualms in submitting this report as we feel Manyane deserves the positiveness of this review.
Pro Roof were called in to rectify roof truss mess caused by two previous separate Carpenters. Pro Roofers have been paid the asked R35000 but for R1750 still due. Pro Roofers work was really not good but with rains imminent we could no longer keep telling them what to correct. In general we felt their work was sub-standard and not at what was expected from \professional roofers". Example - not fitting undertile flashing down the full extent of a roof extension. Resulted in serious leaks during the rains. We had to incur additional expense to get another contractor in to fix. The one valley installed by Pro Roofers spills water off the one side of the valley in severe rains and into the house and onto the ceiling. We now need to call a second contractor in to fix this mess as well. Cassie of Pro Roofers has made promises to return to site but as yet never has"
