The last time I borrowed and paid Makanda Finance in full was in January 2024. The amount paid for this last loan was even a little more than what I was supposed to pay, and they were owing me a refund which I gave up on after numerous phone calls with no luck. This company has listed me on credit bureau for old amounts from 2023 or previous years (which had all been paid). This has gravely affected my credit record, and I cannot buy anything on credit for the past two years and all my efforts in writing to them via email requesting assistance have fallen in deaf ears. I would really appreciate urgent assistance regarding same as emails sent to Experian and Transunion have not assisted thus far.
I submitted a formal request for the approval of a downgrade from the Bonsave plan to the Primary Select option on 6 April 2025 and it was approved. This was due to serious financial hardship and supporting documents, including bank statements, payslips, loan agreements, mashonisa information and other relevant documentation to substantiate the information were submitted. These documents were provided to Bonitas to reflect the gravity and necessity of my situation and to motivate for a SAVINGS REFUND which was declared to be +/-R38,000.00 at the time. The request for SAVINGS REFUND was made to protect me as their client from the dire financial strain which was already affecting my psychological safety at the time so there was indeed for an urgent relief. I am currently having suicidal thoughts as I face shame of mashonisas harassing me in the workplace for monies borrowed for survival needs since April till now. I ran away from work at some point and am frequenting the doctor due to Bonitas not having offered a sustainable and fast solution/relief to my ongoing challenges. After numerous phone calls that I made to advise them I did send a copy of a clearer ID that they requested on 17 April 2025, today Mr Themba Skhosana tells me they had sent an email my refund will be paid at the end of September 2025 due to other claims that must be paid first. I AM SUICIDAL AND LIVE IN FEAR EVERYDAY. NO LIGHTS AT HOME, NO FOOD. WE HAD TO USE CANDLES BECAUSE I CAN NO LONGER ACCESS ELECTRICITY ADVANCE. I HAVE NOT PAID RENT, THE LANDLORD GAVE ME TILL YESTERDAY OR ELSE WILL REMOVE MY FURNITURE WHEN AM AT WORK AND ALL LOAN SHOPS ARE DECLINING MY APPLICATION FOR MORE LOAN. I reported the death of my parent and submitted her WILL with certified ID's and death certificate two months ago so ABSA may assist as the deceased had entrusted this bank to take care of us when she is no more. I am drowning in debt with no food nor school fees for my children as I used my salary and loans for the funeral and the after ceremonies. I am on the brink of depression and feel suicidal because I do not know what my children will eat next while there is so much money left for us at ABSA. I phone ABSA Trust daily and no-one comes to my rescue and Candice (ABSA Pretoria employee) tells me the ESTATES/TRUST department has a backlog. The backlog is not my issue but theirs all I need is money and my money is inside ABSA but ABSA is refusing to give it to me. In conclusion, ABSA therefore wants to kill me because if I have no money, no shelter I will be depressed and obviously one thing leads to the other. When I am no more, what will ABSA do with this money?

This company deducted R395 from my bank account and I have no such agreement with them. I only applied for a loan which never came to existence now they have deducted the little I have for my children's bread leaving me to drown some more!
