Fake advertising- R200 voucher for using your Visa card with a purchase. I purchased goods- then had to phone multiple times to enquire about the voucher. Eventually a voucher was sent. This voucher expires at the end of the month. I am now ready to place another order but now the voucher is “not active”. I phoned takealot yet again and someone escalated the problem to their coupons/vouchers department- that was two days ago. Phoned today again and they said they would escalate the matter... guess what? Still nothing. I think they want me to just give up or are waiting till month end comes so they can say the promotion is no longer active
Firstly expect to wait on the help contact telephone line for roughly 10 minutes. I am not sure with other accounting software but considering this is supposed to be user friendly it really isnt. I have asked about the previous vat rate specifically: can I just change the order that I view the vat rate options as my 15% vat rate options are all over the place (top,middle and bottom) - it cannot be done how then can no longer view the old vat type when selecting the various vat options - it cannot be done I have to view them. This will be a nightmare if the vat rate increases again in the future.
Why do you even have the platform online where you get to ask questions instead of phoning on contact support? The questions just go forever unanswered - I only got contacted once and it was a courtesy email to find out if my query was resolved - she at least answered my question after I replied. But again send queries and it just goes unanswered. I do not want to wait over 10 minutes to speak to someone for help and I certainly don't want to have to wait over a month for emails to maybe get a reply.
A minimum of two months ago I requested information specifically pricing on a merchant terminal . I finally got a phone call yesterday to ask if they can send me through the information - so it took them two months to respond to my request? They just lost business as I joined a different bank - useless!
Booked through a 3rd party - sent all my credit card details on 15th Jan. They cancelled this booking on the 24th. Reason - I did not pay an EFT. I gave them my card details and they never bothered to call me. I saw it was still available to book today so I did the booking again - they rudely sent me a message to say "I do not understand how you can make a booking. On my side it shows unavailable as we are already fully booked. So sorry! Unfortunately I can not help you." Terrible service and terrible attitude - oh their details are not correct on a lot of things I called them out on.
Spoke to Jason Poggenpoel. I was supposed to be issued a refund. I gave him my banking details. Yet phoned today as still no refund has been processed. I asked Mphomi why I wasnt refunded - she said that the agent (guessing it was Jason) had marked my ticket as resolved on the 22nd November - I had only replied with my banking details on the 24th November. So therefore nothing was done. Will wait and see if I actually get my refund now.
I cancelled my service with enough notification. Struggled for you to actually cancel my line. I am now being charged this extra amount when my line should have been cancelled. Please can someone actually contact me regarding my multiple disputes? It has been more then a month...
terrible service exclusion period because I have eczema/psoriasis (on medical aid all my life) phoning is a useless exercise no one answers emails dont get responded to trying to now cancel and go back to discovery

Apparently I might be able to get hold of someone on here.... your mailbox is full and no one else will help I have sent documents to become a new member but no one is answering (its been over two working days) Are you not accepting new members at this time? Please advise otherwise I need to reinstate my medical aid with Discovery.
I decided to move my business account to nedbank due to their good investment options. However I am regretting this decision every step of the way. Firstly never ever open your bank account online. The fica process was a disaster. Kept sending them through document after document that were rejected. Eventually took the same documents to the bank and it was processed immediately. The call centers were extremely unhelpful and gave me false information all the time with regard to the documents I needed to submit and then giving me personal email addresses that were incorrect. Now the issue of getting a card for the bank account. was phoned early october- didnt receive my card so when I went to the bank to submit documents I asked them to sort it out. This was 2 weeks ago. Phone call centre again all the agent could tell me is they dont know where the card is. Asked if I must order another one and the response is I can but will be charged. I cannot even get a reference number only the agents name. so at the end this information can also be fake and nothing done. Going to research some other banks to move to AGAIN otherwise just go back to my original bank - may just be the best option.
