I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the management of my property in Heidelberg, Gauteng, which I entrusted to Remax in June 2025 for rental purposes. Initially, a prospective tenant was vetted and declined. However, your agent, Ms. Nicoleen De Wet, contacted me privately and assured me that the client would be able to afford the rental. She strongly encouraged me to approve the tenant, despite my reservations. Based on her assurances, I agreed. For the first few months, the rental payments were made without issue. However, beginning in December 2025, the tenant defaulted on payments. I requested that the lease agreement be cancelled and that the tenant vacate my property. To date, the tenant has refused to vacate, and despite presenting proof of Ms. De Wet’s assurances, Remax has failed to take responsibility. Instead, the matter is being deflected back to me, while the agent in question appears to be shielded from accountability. As a result, I am now bearing the financial burden of my property, including fines issued to the tenant and additional monthly parking costs. Furthermore, I have been informed that I cannot cancel the mandate, despite the severe difficulties I am experiencing. This situation raises serious concerns about the role of the agency. The purpose of engaging Remax was to avoid disputes with tenants and mitigate financial losses. Instead, I find myself in a worse position, with the agency distancing itself from responsibility and protecting the employee whose actions directly contributed to this outcome. I have already communicated my financial circumstances and reasons for entrusting the property to Remax. I have also provided proof of my conversations with Ms. De Wet, which clearly demonstrate her assurances. I therefore request that this matter be escalated beyond the rental department, as I no longer have confidence in their impartiality. Your agency is not taking responsibility of your Agent's misconduct, but protecting her and shifting the blame and burden on me Please advise how Remax intends to resolve this issue and take accountability for the actions caused by their employee. I am prepared to provide all supporting documentation and correspondence as evidence.

I have three contracts with Vodacom. I have been going to the store at Secunda mall. and called their call center to cancel my contracts and move them to prepaid. I was told that all the contracts were cancelled and I am left with one contact. I am still shocked that the contracts are still active and I have a bill of R8000.00 I am now losing my clients because Vodacom decided to block my lines from making and receiving calls. I want Vodacom to contact me and ENSURE that those lines are cancelled immediately and credit me!!!. Resolve this ASAP! You really need to do better. You operating hours are 7:30 am but we get a response that you are still not open, past that time stated. I need t urgently change the delivery address as it's already out. You whatsapp referred to e-mail and I did not get any response about the changes.
My account was handed over to debt collectors. I have been paying MTN directly and have an outstanding balance of R2080. But on credit berau reflects as R4000 I have been asking MTN to confirm the outstanding amount in writting, So I can make the full payment. I am being ssent from pillar to post. I bought my car from Johan Du Rand motors on the 17th of February 2023. I was then advised that I have a 24 month warranty with the MVIA. I have never received any policy/warranty documents until the 11th of February 2025, and that was after I had to make a call requesting for them. By then my car was almost a week at the workshop that was referred by the dealership due to linkeage failure, fixed and awaiting payment. I am now being told that the claim has being declined because they only cover linkeage for automatics. HOW WAS I GOING TO KNOW THAT WITHOUT THE POLICY DOCUMENTS. I am currently having a plumbing issue. The water is leaking to my neighbours walls and ceiling. The consultant called me and advised that the type of my building is not insured by OOBA. I then received an e-mail from the claims department with: We hereby confirm that you do not have your Buildings Insurance with ooba as you may have taken up cover with our Bond Lender (ABSA). This was never mentioned to me when taking the homeloan insurance. Looking at the number of negetive reviews, I realise that I might have made a huge mistake with this company
Bought a service kit online from Makro. I realized immediately after opening the package that one item is missing. A collection was done the followin day and it's been 10 days waiting for my refund!. I was told that I will not be refunded my delivery fee. For an incorrect order!. I keep on asking for my refund everyday now!!!!
