My bathroom heated towel rail stopped working. I contacted Jeeves in Port Elizabeth & spoke to Mark Bennett, sales director. I explained what had happened & that my towel rail was less than 5 years old & that I had no proof of purchase. This was no problem for Mark. He explained that the only thing that could go wrong was the thermostat. He then sent me a new one by courier to my home in Cape Town. It arrived the next day & THERE WAS NO CHARGE. What exceptional service.
This is a really fabulous venue with stunning views over the Constantia Valley. We were a table of 8, all locals. Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience which has been subsequently exacerbated by the lack of response to my complaints from management. We received poor service, in particular the wine tasting was most unprofessional & we had to seek out our food which took forever to be served. It then took a lot of effort to get the bill. The latter was the crowning glory, there was an automatic service charge of 15% because we were table of 8. Outrageous seems an appropriate word
