<p>It is with a heavy heart that I wright this, on the celebration if my Grandmothers 70th birthday our family came together most from very far and was booked to have supper at The Promise Grill In Meyersdal Alberton. When we arrived we were set up in the corner of the restaurant which was intended for conferences and was as such not really paid attention to by the staff.</p> <p>As this was a special occasion we did not mention anything to the staff as to not ruin the evening, however as we all decided on our meals we were met with great disappointment as we were served Stir fry vegetables and underwhelming food. This was of great disappointment as we were use to a extraordinary well prepared meal with extraordinary well prepared vegetables and service.</p> <p>We all had our meal but was extremely upset with the quality in service as well as food, there was no atmosphere what so ever. We left this to be settled the next day due to the importance of the occasion. We were met by a staff member whom said that he would need to talk to the manager and took down our contact details, up until now we have not heard a word from him nor any manager from the restaurant.</p> <p>We then took it upon ourselves to return to the Promise Grill as to see what they have done to rectify the situation to no avail, no one had any idea about what had happened nor were they in the least accommodating, yet they felt that a simple Sorry would be educate.</p> <p>I will never again support nor do I suggest the promise grill at Meyersdal Alberton to anyone reading this…</p> <p>To ruin a evening is one thing but to ruin a family get-together for a 70th birthday is just disgusting and unacceptable.</p>
We went shopping at Edgars North gate to go buy clothing, the price showed that the item that we were purchasing was marked \down"however when we got home i peeled away the so call marked down price only to find that it had been marked UP"
After a period of bad service from ABSA i decided to move from ABSA ro FNB, i then instructed them to close my cheque account with them. Thinking that all was in order i continued as usual. After a couple of months i was being bombarded with calls from legal companies requesting payment on the account as it is now standing on a amount of more than 2000 rands in bank charges. I am very upset about this as they were instructed to close the account and now they are claiming from me to pay for their error. If this is not sorted out and the telephone calls do not stop i will take legal action against ABSA. Their service is pathetic!!!
