The pathetic service from this company is beyond me. I have their tracking unit in my vehicle since November 2022. I recently discovered that since November 2023 the tracker hasn't been working. and my vehicle shows as offline on the app. After 5 calls they keep saying they updated the devices and that some of them are not coming back on - it takes time etc etc. My insurance knows that I Have tracker in my vehicle. AND I am being debited every month for a service that doesnt work. Should anything happen to my vehicle, I will go to every length in advertising the dishonest and *****ulent activities of this business. I expect a full refund for the debits made as was as a cancellation of my account for a UNIT THAT DOESNT WORK. I would rather pay a little more and have a reputable company install their tracker in my vehicle.
My cellphone contract was meant to expire on 30th July 2023. At the beginning of May they had no handets I was interested in and I agreed to just have a SIM only contract. Almost a week later I was called by the upgrades dept again and offered a decent handset for an upgrade. The Lady I spoke to (KIM - and I have her cell number), assured me that the SIM only deal would be cancelled and the upgrade with handset will take its place. Which would mean that the new upgrade will only come into effect when the current contract term had lapsed. This did not happen. They gave me a new line for the new contract and charged me for it as well as my current contract. After numerous irate calls, and 2 months of paying for 2 separate contracts - they advised that my current contract will expire and go to prepaid which they can allocate onto the new line which will allow me to keep my old number. Upon calling them today (31st July 2023) to have my now prepaid number transferred over to the new contract so that my number still exists and continues as a contract, they tell me that I HAVE TO PAY R 250.00 to have the prepaid number transferred onto a contract number. THIS will not be accepted and I WILL NOT BE PAYING ANYTHING ADDITIONAL DUE TO THE FACT THAT THIS WAS A MISTAKE ON THEIR PART FROM THE BEGINNING. THEY ALLOCATED A NEW LINE TO MY ACCOUNT AND DIDNT FOLLOW THEIR OWN UPGRADE TERMS. The consultant refused to despatch me through to a supervisor or manager and assured me that someone will call me back - this has not happened. I use my phone for work and I cannot have this line as a prepaid number as I have to make calls. Their mistakes will not be paid for by me and this is the last time I will ever do an upgrade or have any contracts with Cell C. As soon as my contract terms are over - I will cancel all contracts with them and advise my family members and friends to do the same.
I have 3 contracts and I have been a customer of cell c for over 10 years. And in that 10 years their service has been literally going down the sewer pipes. My WiFi router contract was R136.80 for 10gig day and 10gig night data. When my two other contracts were upgraded, the incompetent idiots decided to upgrade my price of the WiFi contract to R232.00 but give me 5 gig day and 5 gig night data. What kind of stupidity is this? Why would a customer pay almost double the price for half the data? Were you people just picked from the street for your jobs? Or did you actually have to have some brains to get it, because what you're doing makes no sense. I had a team leader call me to tell me how they would rectify it, and last month I was debited for R232.00 and only got half the data..... Where the **** is the rest of my data and my credit that you people overcharged for.... You're quick to have the funds debited or put a block on a person that hasn't flippin paid on the debit date, but when you people **** up then it's a waiting game!!! Sort this f****** s*** out TODAY!!!!!
My WiFi router contract ended on the 25th August. In June already, cell c called me to renew this contract, which I didn't. I said to them that I will continue this contract month to month and they agreed to give me this contract at almost half the price than my initial contract. From September till now .... Which is the last two months.... Cell C has been charging me extra than the amount they offered me for the month to month contract. I have contacted them several times regarding this over charge, and they still continue to do this. Cell C can consider me cancelling this contract, because their pathetic service to me as a customer of over 10 years is now too much to handle.
For 2 months in a row, an unauthorized company has debited my account. I have called Absa and was given an email address to share the information. After doing this, and 6 emails later, I still do not have a response in this matter. I have been a client of Absa for almost 15 years and this is the most pathetic treatment of a client query that I have been dealt. This has happened before and queries were sorted out over the phone, not through 100 emails with no response. In the effort of Job creation, absa has completely lost the plot of customer service. I will be forced to change banks if this is not sorted out within the week.
I received a debit order sms for MONEYTIPS. this company uses Stratcol to take off money from people's accounts. this is utter bullshit, because there has been no authorisation from me to allow this company or MONEYTIPS to debit my account for any such reason. It is a pathetic attempt for this company to rob people of their hard earned money. I was given a number by Stratcol to call - 031 822 3265 - but this number constantly rings and I cannot get hold of any person to have my money returned to me. this company as well as money tips should be investigated for fraud and theft. if I don't have my money returned, I will surely take both these companies to court. If it was done to me and 49 other people in one day, this company walks away with 6499.50 per day of other people's hard earned money. That is something that will not be tolerated.
have watched 7de laan always on a Sunday, because I work in the week and do not get to watch the repeats until the weekend. Now, due to some stupid reburial of someone, Sabc 2 is not going to show Fridays episode of the soap! According to sabc, the episode will be shown on monday. I will be working at the time. What the hell do we flippen pay TV license for when u people will just do as u damn well please. What kind of unqualified people work at sabc that cannot keep to schedule. Live inserts or not, that's not our problem. U just shove out programs so u can put whatever nonsense u want on tv for us to watch it. I am an indian individual, and it was well noticed that even eastern mosiac is either shoved off to another timeslot every week or its never shown. But that won't happen to things like Generations or Isidingo! Please, wake the hell up, I will consider not even bothering to pay tv license in the future. People living in informal settlement nearby are not paying, and they have bigger tv's. Seems to be that only certain people get targeted in this freakin country!!!
It has just come to my attention now that the debit order has went off my account, that CELL C has charged almost 10% extra on each contract that I have with them. They have stated that an sms was sent to the 2 cell c numbers that I have, informing me of the increase of each contract. This is absolutely pathetic and alarming considering that a service provider can debit any amount they want out of our accounts without proper permission. At the same time, I do not get any statements or invoices from cell c, not emailed or in the post. This is also a problem, because the increase could have been communicated on the invoice or statement. I don't agree that the increase should be implemented on my account, as I have not authorised it. As well as, if I signed a contract for 24 months for a certain amount, that's what I should be paying for 24 months. I have had many many contracts in my lifetime, and this is the first time I have experienced an increase DURING the contract. I do not agree with this.
