We celebrated my grandmother's 93 birthday at Casalinga in Muldersdrift. The venue was beautiful but the service was sub par and the food was terrible. We where 13 people on a busy Saturday; which I don't see as an excuse. I paid R195 for a fillet which was so dry that I couldn't even swallow it. The rest of the meal tasted of nothing. I sent most of it back. There where so many waiters that served us that no one knew what was going on. They didn't know who ordered what; it was confusing. We have a family restaurant which isn't as famous and Casalinga but does not even compare. Everyone was a bit disapointed and I would not go back.

At our initial meeting, my now husband and I asked for a red velvet cake, with cream cheese in between the layers and white fondant over the cake. My wedding colour was white, so when I saw the cake on my wedding day, I was very upset as it was covered in cream cheese and was yellow.

I have sent emails and they say that it is somehow my fault. I am very dissapointed as I had such high hopes for this bakery.

One of their DJ's was playing at our wedding in August.

Before the wedding, I sent them a list of 50 songs which I expected to be played on the night, which they asked for.

I was very upset as almost none of these where played. I wanted those specific songs played.

I don't understand what happened and they also have not come back to me after many emails.

Very dissapointed with their service.
