Just a quick message to convey my appreciation to the driver, Colin and his team who delivered a dining room suite to me from Cielo The Sanctuary in Somerset West. I updated my address a few weeks ago upon my purchase, but the store still had my old address on my profile. The delivery guys still came to deliver an hour later and assembled my table and chairs in no time and with a smile, not expecting a tip or token of appreciation, which I did give to them, not only for the service, but also for their attitude. Currently sitting in the post office at Boulders in Midrand after having spent 45 minutes in the wrong queue due to no queue management. Went to look for the Post Master to enquire about this oversight and he is sweating behind one of the counters unpacking parcels - he is short staffed. He offered no apology when I explained that I have been waiting in the wrong queue for a very long time. He only started shouting at someone to do something. He is clearly frustrated. This is not my first horrible experience at this post office. It happens all the time and the excuse remains the lack of human resources. Not even my tweets to SA Post Office helped and I am almost certain that this won’t mean a thing to them. Us taxpayers will continue to get the short end of the stick.
