Absolute horrible experience with Bed king. After buying a mattress and base. They delivered it and it was smelling of some chemical. The replaced the mattress and not the base. Had to call again and they replaced the base but its smells of *****ed wood which causes an allergic reaction. I keep calling them and they refuse to refund it or replace it. They keep making excuses and its been over a month now. Nkosi says they will call and make arrangements and no one has. As for that Mervin, he wont take any calls. I had to escalate to the ombudsman.
I called in last month and had a discussion with Lithemba. She informed me that my new plan would take effect this month and that I needed to pay an extra amount to ensure that happened which I did. I got charged extra. I called in and spoke to Simanye on 3 April with reference number 872175179 and she told me that she would call me back with her manager on the same day. I have given her a week and still no call back. Please can an actual manager listen to both the calls and correct the account.
I called in twice. The first time, I got cut off. The lady I spoke to did not call me back. I called again and also the call got cut off. The lady named Lithemba called me back and ensured that my query was dealt with professionally. She went beyond the bare minimum and made the process enjoyable. Thank you Lithemba for your great service. Please keep it up and show others around you what good customer service is all about.
I cancelled my BUSINESS bank account application because of their horrible service. I put a hello peter complaint and they called me and assured me that it was cancelled. Today I get a message saying that it was opened, and I get an invoice for it. If there are any lawyers here, Should I take them up? They are messing with my business. Who is the OMBUDSMAN for Absa?
I had a fantastic experience with Luthendo Ramudzuli when opening my business bank account. He kept his word and went above and beyond to provide great customer service. I am very impressed. This guy deserves a raise.
Absolute horrible experience from them. Opened a business bank account with them 2 years ago and it was easy. This time, it took weeks, and it is still not opened. They are asking unnecessary questions and constantly going back and forth. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and bank with FNB or Capitec. Absa seems to be going downhill with their unprofessionalism. Dealt with a lady named Yolanda who made the process unnecessarily long.
I have emailed and called and even posted a previous complaint, one that has still no been resolved. I was contacted by Byron but after that, no response. My problem is still not solved.
Poor service from FNB. I went to the branch and sent emails, complaints, called in multiple times into their call centre and still my problem is not sorted out and it is such a basic problem. When you go to the branch, then they have to call the call centre. The only next option would be to notify the ombudsman. I can understand bad service due to lack of training but no service? Surely that is insane. my complaint number is 2501004 and still no one has contacted me.
We hired a car last week while on holiday in Durban. We took out the insurance for the windscreen and the tyres. We used the car and gave it back in. After that I get a call telling me that I took the car to a dealer which isn't approved and got a tyre plugged. I told them I did no such thing and they still charged me for it. WHY WOULD I PLUG A TYRE IF I TOOK THE INSURANCE. There is probable a syndicate going on there where they take your money and come up with lousy excuses. They did not even do a proper investigation. When i dropped the car off, they checked it and told me everything is fine. So clearly they make sure to find faults that you didn't do. I have asked them for proof or pictures and nothing yet. Please save yourself the hassle and use another company.
I bought an xbox one bundle about two weeks ago from the Northgate branch. The bundle was advertised with the console, two controllers, a game and 3 month gold membership which i have proof of. I got the console, the controllers and the game. I was told that the membership is inside the box. There was only the 14 day trial membership and not the three months. I have been back there about 4 times and I spoke to the H.O.D. I was told that I would be called and I wasn't called. The next time they told me that they calling the supplier. The next time they said they will call me. Up to date still no feedback on the membership. This is false advertising.
