An event was arranged with Alinah Seage at the Maslow Pretoria by one of the St Mary DSG matric girls for their pre-drinks and photo's and as a thank you to their parents, all in all about 25 people. After a number of emails backwards and forwards, it was decided on a venue with ****tail tables. Due to their limited budget, the parents decided that we would order our own drinks and food once there. (We ended up spending a further R2000 on drinks and food, which could have been more had some parents not left in disappointment) What an utterly disappointing and embarrassing venue awaited us on arrival, a stark, bare conference room, no effort was made at all! Service was dismal on ordering food and drinks, place was dirty. I have conveyed my unhappiness to Alinah, who as an Events Coordinator, is condoning what she gave us - I am rather shocked as this is not the standard we would expect from Sun International. Would definitely not recommend this venue. further complaints to Sun International remain unanswered.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. they will take off ALOT more money than what is advertised. give you some bull**** when trying to cancel about getting back to you in 24 - 48 hours and then send you an email saying your item has been shipped, with tracking number, which is quite clearly bogus, the company knows nothing about it and final tracking is at the post office and that is where it ends!! They will also fraudulently charge you for being a Premier Club member, which you definitely wouldn't sign up for as it's a monthly fee in $$. They will get back to you 72 hours later offering a 50% discount on products or 15% surcharge on returning products.......difficult if you never receive them and if per stroke of luck you do get them, the money you use to return is another poor investment as you ARE NOT GOING TO GET A REFUND!! If you are lucky your credit card will refund you, but most reviews I've read people have lost a lot of money. Don't fall for this SCAM, products are bogus!! DON"T DO IT!! they have not won any prizes from SHARK TANK or any other investment TV programme, LIES, don't fall for it!! Based in Singapore, THUGS!!
I ordered a Microwave via PriceCheck, their web page showed plenty in stock, delivery 4 days. Item did not arrive. A week and a half later after many unanswered emails/ phone calls I eventually got hold of Gary on their online chat, who promised to get back to me, which he never did! This has been going on for weeks with various agents (Vanessa Ali(Alison)/Brendan/ Adam) When I started threatening them they promised delivery last wednesday, which of course has never happen, and not answering call and emails again! Investigation on Hello Peter and Pricecheck ttps://www.pricecheck.co.za/shops/3041/TV+and+Appliances+Direct as well as messages on their FB page, show that this is their modus operandi. There appears to be a lot of people scammed. I have also chatted to a few online. Anyway after alot of threats and continual harra*****t they "say" they are going to refund (however complaints from customer say otherwise), You will not get your stuff. They will not answer tel/whatsapp/ email, and if per-chance you get contact on their online chat, they will sweet talk you, and then do nothing. If you think you are lucky to get correspondence from their "CEO" Adam..., think again, DON'T FALL FOR IT!! In contact with Paypal, so holding thumbs on that refund!

I paid (R8999) to do a workshop, which they offered in April 2017 (invite sent via email (March2017)). Two days before I called KBTS to find out final arrangements, and received a letter stating the course had been postponed till May. In May I received another letter cancelling the course with the promise of a full refund. No refund was forthcoming, despite lots of unreturned calls and emails. I eventually managed to get hold of the owner Rieta Hanse, who promised payment end of June 2017, which of course has not been forthcoming and not answering emails/calls. I contacted the facilitator who was supposed to originally do the course and he was very suprised as he had never agreed to do it! Blatant Fraud.
