Frustrating, disgusting service from Old Mutual
My challenge working with Old Mutual gets more disgusting and painful. I posted an issue on incorrect IRP5 issued by Old Mutual on the 7 Feb 2025 and until now the issue is still not resolved. I have used all Old Mutual escalation channels but none works....now I have engaged Tax Consultancy to try to resolve issue directly with Old Mutual at an additional cost to me.....they tried setting a meeting with Old Mutual but no one attended meeting. Frustrating, frustrating service

Urgent Assistance Required Regarding Incorrect IRP5 and Tax Directive Discrepancy
Dear Old Mutual Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my frustration regarding a significant issue with my Retirement Annuity payout from 2023. While I appreciate the eventual payout, the process took several months to be finalized and paid out. However, the IRP5 filed by Old Mutual (Horizon Investment) with SARS contains incorrect tax codes, which do not align with the tax directive issued by SARS. Despite my attempts to resolve this issue, I have faced numerous challenges. I have spent extended periods of time on hold (20-30 minutes) and have often been dropped after discussing the issue. I have also utilized the provided email channels, but unfortunately, I have not received a resolution. Sylvia Emtoch responded to me stating that there were no issues with the IRP5, but after sending relevant documentation and details of the discrepancies, I have yet to see any corrective action. This situation is particularly distressing as I am currently residing in Singapore, and SARS has an open query on my return. As a result, I am incurring penalties due to the incorrect tax information being submitted by Old Mutual. Given the urgency of the matter, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could contact me as soon as possible to resolve this issue and prevent any further financial repercussions.
