Despite the distance, they were incredibly professional, punctual, and efficient from start to finish. The quality of their work is top-tier, and they made the whole process seamless. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and follow-through from Stratum Gap cover team. After a confirmed co-payment from my medical aid, I submitted the required documents to the gap cover provider and received an acknowledgment email stating that communication would follow within 10 working days, as per their policy. It’s now been 20 days—with no update. I called to follow up, only to be put on hold for an extended period, after which I was told the forms were sent to my father’s email. Not only does my father not have an email address, but this was clearly an excuse to deflect responsibility. When I questioned why I wasn’t informed the forms were incorrect, I was met with silence. How are consumers meant to know there’s an issue if no one communicates it? We pay monthly for these services expecting support when it matters—not to be passed around or ignored. It’s unacceptable that paying customers are left to chase what should be a transparent and reliable process. Consumers deserve better.
I placed an order with Makro Online based specifically on the delivery date provided — it was a birthday gift for someone visiting from another country, and the timing was critical. Despite the urgency, Makro failed to meet their own delivery promise, sending a generic email at the last minute stating there was a delay. I contacted customer support, only to be told that the supplier doesn’t have stock — something that was not reflected at the time of purchase. Frankly, stock availability and supplier coordination are Makro’s responsibility, not mine as the customer. This poor coordination has resulted in a missed opportunity that cannot be recreated. To make matters worse, the consultant I spoke to promised to call back after checking with the supplier. Unsurprisingly, that call never came. As a loyal and frequent Makro customer, I expected better. Sadly, this experience has shown a lack of accountability and poor customer care. I won’t be purchasing from Makro Online again.
