Cell C advertised a buy out / new contract offer - Pinnacle 2 contract. My boyfriend and I enquired as we were both interested in this offer. I provided all the requested info, documentation etc.. Drove to the branch on 3 occasions to ensure everything was in order as I couldn't get a hold of them telephonically. Spoke to my existing Service provider and relayed all the necessary information to cell C.

As I am meant to go on holiday in a day's time, the day I was told everything is ready and I am meant to collect my new LG4 phone I arrive at the Cell C Store. Given, who was assisting me is not available so another lady offers to assist me. After spending an hour in store, signing more documentation (final contract) the lady asks if I am aware that either I can get a new phone OR they will buy my contract out!

Okay, so this is not on!! First time I am hearing anything of the sort and secondly NOWHERE in Cell C's promotional brochures or online does it state this. Nor did Given-Cell C representative who assisted me before inform us of this.

Come on CELL C - This is false advertising!! I think it is only fair that other people are aware of this before they waste their time
Such unprofessionalism from Discovery. I received an sms from Shapiro Shaik Defries Attorney's explaining money is outstanding to Discovery since August. I explained I was retrenched in August, the company cancelled my Medical Aid. Little did I know there is an amount outstanding due to savings being used up and monthly premium amounts. Last week for the first time I received notification from SSDA to say I owe them money on behalf of Discovery. I made contact with SSDA to explain my situation, only to be told it was my responsibility to phone Discovery to find out what was owed, not the other way around. I then make contact with Discovery. Spoke to a Mr. Viwe France who agreed payment can be made into Discoveries account directly so I made payment same day. I send all the necessary information to SSDA and they consult Mr Nahda Ariefdien from Discovery who has now come back to say they made all these attempts to contact me with all my wrong information on their system so I owe them interest occurred! I was with Discovery Medical for 4 years and never faulted on one payment. Sadly, they are quick to take our money but have no idea when it comes to Customer satisfaction or resolution
I claimed for a new windscreen 3 months ago and then had to claim again a month later. Two months down the line and someone hits into the back of me. In every situation you guys have been so helpful and made it a pleasure to deal with you. It's few and far in-between when you have not just a good experience but a great one! Thank you all so much for the brilliant Service and just overall friendliness. I will not hesitate to refer my friends and family your way.
