Last night, on my way home from a hectic work week & looking forward to my first weekend off in months, an illegal driver (non SA drivers licence), pulled infront of my motorbike, causing a serious collision. My bike, which was to be sold this weekend, is a write off! The driver provided his boss’ contact details. My father came to the scene. Die to me being in a state of shock and already in some pain, after an Isuzu bakkie wrapped itseld around me, my father called the owner of EMC Training and Consulting who was most accommodating over the phone and aince her illegal driver , who took the work bakkie without her knowledge, had admitted he was In the wrong , the owner agreed to pay all costs towards my bike and further advised that should any medical bills arise from this accident, she would cover all the costs. Naturally I was relieved and it somewhat took away a certain amount of anxiety from previous minutes prior to the telecon. On waking this morning, I was unable to move my wrist a mechanic, who needs the use of both my hands. This is now not only affecting my transport, my health but also my job. For a company like this, who according to their website specializes in the training of safety, I find this incredibly ironic. Which insurance pays for third parties medical bills and which business insurance pays out, when a driver is illegally driving a vehicle? An entire 24hrs wasted of my of weekend and tomorrow more phone calls to family members to try get financial assistance to afford me to get my wrist seen to and for x-rays. Why should all of this additional stress and worry be on me, when I have witnesses and am not the cause of the accident? Why would one deliberately put another through all of this? All I was hoping for was an amicable resolution. Now a long battle ahead it seems & I have to try squeeze money from wanting upfront for their payment
I have been ordering with ASAP for quite some time, up to very recently I have been very happy. Today is the 2nd time where I am sitting waiting for my delivery (past the latest time given on placing the order). The worst part is that the expected delivery time on the app, keeps updating to a later time every few minutes. If you can’t fulfill your commitments to your clients then I suggest you hold off on further orders to ensure your service delivery is of standard. I am now holding a second time to speak to your call Centre too. This is wasted time. We pay for this service due to convenience. By now I could have gone to a store myself and purchased those items and still been home earlier than this. This is shocking service! I e been holding on the line now 10min:08 sec and I think I just got cut off. Your competitors are getting this right within an hour of placing an order, why are you messing up?
