I was recently offered less than 30% of my advertised price on a bike listed on Bikehub by James from Bikemarket.co.za. I noticed that there were at least 7 other folk on the site who complained about exactly the same practices. I asked him to phone me in response to his ad, I also left messages with his staff to which, he also has not rep****. The bike advertised is in my view advertised at absolutely a market related price. I know that as they run a business they need to make a profit but this is just gross exploitation. People in desperate situations will be severely compromised by organisations like this let alone the damage this does to the bike market. Shame on you. Making matters worse is the fact that the owner doesnt even have the decency to at the very least discuss the issue with me or on any of the other forums mentioned. My next step is to take this to the press.
I have been awaiting a a visa application reimbur*****t since June 15th its now 11th August and nobody in this organization takes my query seriously. The call centre agents managers in Bruce Lukhele and Mohammed Bapoo go out of there way to stall and prevent the processing of reimbur*****ts. I was double charged for visa appointments for my wife and myself by Cindy Mouton at the Cape town VFSglobal branch for a Shengen visa to Italy on the 6th June. she admitted her error immediately but said that I needed to request a refund form this i filled out and sent off with the relevant receipts on the 17th June. I have been attempting without success to get my funds returned ever since then. I requested through the call centre management to speak with the CEO or head of VFS global in South africa but was told that that would be impossible. I find the way in which this company hides behind its call centre completely unacceptable and wish to expose VFS and its staff for their shocking service and complete lack of customer care. The sooner all embassies, consulates the Department of Home affairs and other organisations making use of VFSGlobal are made aware of the slew of complaints and move away from using this company the better.
After being lied to by your call centre agent and then supervisor Tsepo Malope I will be cancelling my account. Everytime I have had dealings with your company it is always the same, you just don't care I have never, ever come across such pathetic service in my life. Call centre agents don't know what they are talking about and then lie to their customers. DSTV is just shocking in terms of what they stand for or rather don't stand for despite their exorbitant fees. The level of personal service is completely absent. This monopoly must fall in South Africa.
After booking and paying for three rooms for an occasion in Franschhoek for Bastilles day at Goodings Groves guest house one couple in our party could no longer attend. A week prior to our booking date Arlene the owner agreed that if she sold the room that she would refund us the money less any commissions payable through any booking agency. As it was the Bastille Day weekend we both agreed that it shouldn’t be a problem as Franschhoek was effectively booked out. I was sent an email the evening before our arrival confirming that Arlene had in fact sold the room but as they had a 100% no refund policy she would not be refunding the R1550.00 for the room, a fact that is in complete contravention of the CPA. I have sent several emails requesting that Arlene reconsider her position on this and to please keep her word regarding our arrangement to which I received a single very terse reply that as they had a 100% no refund cancellation policy she would not be refunding me, since then my emails have gone unanswered. I post this as a warning to other would be travelers to Goodings Groves to please be aware of the new owner, her attitude, as well as her sense of integrity or lack thereof.
