Henmak / Hoselect
I just lost R27k. In Jan I installed 4 off Hoselect 200A x 12V Gel batteries in a solar installation purchased from Henmak Solar in Ontdekkers Rd. In April I added 4 more. In June 2 units failed. Henmak replaced these at the end of August. Late October ANOTHER 2 units failed - that is a FIFTY PERCENT FAILURE RATE in 10mths. Now Henmak are wiping their tail of the matter. It seems Estone Suppliers are the importers. He tells me he advised Henmak that these are "Cheap Chinese Batteries" and there is no Warranty. This fact is conveniently not advised to potential Customers. Be aware - do research and shop wisely
