I have requested quotes on the 2nd August , I gave them all the information needed. On the 3rd they requested 50% deposit which is 8500 , I paid it immediately. They promised to come install the tv stand on the 4th, they never came , I called them the next day and they promised to come later in the afternoon, which they didn’t. They came on the third day, with wrong sizes material. They promised to sort it out, which they didn’t, the material looked like it’s been used previously. The boards had chipped, they did edging themselves in my house, left the glue on my tiles . They promised to come back to fix it , they are now avoiding my calls .
On the 1st of April we booked for accommodation online via Booking.com paid 100% . I e had to cancel five minutes later after we have found out the we were in contact with a person who tested Positive for Covid. We called the venue immediately to confirm our cancellation. They confirmed that they have received it but we must contact Booking.com for refund. We called Booking.com and they called the venue, they were told to call in the morning to speak the the manager. We then called this morning and the manager by the name of Mandy, was so rude and disrespectful, she called me stupid. She told us that we won’t get our money back. We called Booking. Com again and they called them back, the manager told Booking.com that she must email her. The management is so unprofessional and rude. I wonder why Booking.com is working with such unprofessional and incompetent business like this one.
I have been paying my policy since 2014, which was a second policy as they cancelled one before by accident and I was told that they wont be able to revive it. I had to take a new policy with less cover and more premium. So later I received a call today letting me know that I owe more than R2000 of missed premium fromJuly 2018 . I asked them why they only called me 2 years later, I dont have email or sms reminding me of missed premiums. According to my bank statement I have paid my premiums the months they mentioned that I did not pay. I have asked them to send me email stating all the months I have missed my premiums I was told to go to their offices. Am really disappointed I feel like its just a way to try to cancell my policy after so many years of paying. I feel am scammed here because they are not telking the truth as I jave my proof.
