I stayed recently for 3 nights. When I got there the pillows had some white stains and there was a box of ******s under the bed and someone’s sock in the room. They very unhygienic. Secondly after you pay(full amount)on booking.com you get a message that requires you to pay a deposit usually half of what you payed, which you would expect to get back right? **** you not getting the money back. They will tell you that no refund 😂. This is by far the most unprofessional and unclean hotel I have been to . I dont recommend it at all. The attitude from the management when I called and asked about the deposit yho!! She even said that “ its common sense, I wont get my money back” like wth?

Christmas day 2021 Booked with for 14 guests at Royal Ushaka Hotel Buffet, When we got there , Payment was made upfront for a Christmas lunch buffet, 15 to 20 minutes after taking 1 round of food, The food was finished and the owner and manager ran out of the restaurant leaving us sitting there with no foods, no second helpings, nothing, Staff was rude and couldn't give us answers as to what do we do next because there was no food to fill up for us to continue with the meals, We waited and 1 hour 15 minutes then the lady comes back and start talking to us in a very disrespectful manner, there was no solution for us, we asked for a refund or to get part of our money back, they didn't compensate us for a terrible experience or give us any of our money back they treated us like they was giving us the food for free yet moneys were paid upfront, I wouldn't recommend anybody going there, the way they treat the guests is absolutely terrible and honestly it was our worst experience we ever had at a food establishment

Called the hotel on the 28th of may to cornfirm my booking for 25th of june. The lady who was at reception @16.20pm was very very rude she told me they are close for booking and the hotel is fully booked because they have a group of police who booked in. How can a hotel be fully booked when i have already paid. She even hanged up the call while i was still speaking. So rude and so unprofessional. I wont advice anyone to book this place pathetic service

On the 1st of April we booked for accommodation online via Booking.com paid 100% . I e had to cancel five minutes later after we have found out the we were in contact with a person who tested Positive for Covid. We called the venue immediately to confirm our cancellation. They confirmed that they have received it but we must contact Booking.com for refund. We called Booking.com and they called the venue, they were told to call in the morning to speak the the manager. We then called this morning and the manager by the name of Mandy, was so rude and disrespectful, she called me stupid. She told us that we won’t get our money back. We called Booking. Com again and they called them back, the manager told Booking.com that she must email her. The management is so unprofessional and rude. I wonder why Booking.com is working with such unprofessional and incompetent business like this one.

On the 1st of April we booked for accommodation online via Booking.com paid 100% . On the 24th Jan 2020 I landed at, Ushaka airport around about 10;45pm . I made a reservation at Royal ushaka hotel. As the ubber driver arrives , I gave him the name of the hotel , he puts it on his phone GPS shows its a 33 minute drive , as we are halfway from the airport GPS tells us to stop and to make a U turn , so now I'm confused as to why we should turn around, as we stopped the I called Royal ushaka on 0314591606 spoke to a lady named Violet , as I explain to her that i made a booking and now GPS is sending me around to a hotel in the South , already we are 15 minutes away from Royal ushaka in the North . Violet takes down my ID , name and surname , so she spoke to the ubber driver and told him that they have two branches, one Royal Ushaka in the South and one in the North , and we made a booking for the hotel in the North , Violet gives us the address we type the address in on the GPS and we are off to the hotel in the north .. As we are at Royal Ushaka in the North i get to reception and provide my ID to the gentlemen, he goes on the system and says he cannot pick up my details , I advised him i was on the phone with a lady named Violet and she confirmed my booking , and she even gave me the address that i should go to , I showed him my Proof of Payment that i emailed to , when payment was received I got response from Renell saying Thanks for the payment , Its 11:35 at this time I'm angry , frustrated, tired and hungry . so the gentleman , calls the other branch and explains that i am there , however he does not find me on the system ,Violet then checks again and notice that I'm suppose to be at the hotel in the South while she send me to the North , he hands me the phone all she could say was sorry i didn't check properly i was fuming ........... I then asked the gentleman wants going to happen now , cant I sleep for the night and leave in the morning cause I was looking at the time also , he said no he cant accommodate me as the booking was not made with them .... I then requested a refund and he then said they don't do refunds i was mad as HELL... what an awful experience , incompetent staff members they have. I ended up booking at a different hotel ...

This is a horrible place to be, no one should ever come to this place. The level of noise is UNBEARABLE. I reported a number of times but nothing is done about it, no enforcement egat so ever. The state of their bedding and towels leaves a bad taste, had to go and buy my own pillow cases. Maintenance is non existant. Their pricing is not exactly cheap for this kind of service. The place is dirty. This is not acceptable.
