I've been waiting since July 2021 for my refund from the Ba-Phalaborwa Local Municipality to be paid to me but nothing has been done from their side. I've been sent from one employee to the other but each one of them shifts the buck to the other. I've spoken to six employees at that municipality (including their manager) but the refund hasn't been paid yet. They always tell me everything has been processed and the refund will be paid after two weeks, but it has been many many many "two weeks" and I'm still waiting.
I have a son who passed grade 11 last year and supposed to be doing grade 12 this year but he's still not placed in school yet. I went to five schools which fall under the Ekurhuleni South District to register my son for grade 12 and explained to them we relocated from another Province to Gauteng last year December, hence I'm looking for a new school but the Principals told me they don't take new grade 12 learners from other schools (and no reason given) and told me I should go to the District in Meyersdal as they are the ones who place learners into schools. When I went to the district I was told I must go find a school by myself. I don't wanna name and shame by mentioning names, I spoke to six staff members of the district in Meyersdal but till today my son is not yet placed, it seems they don't know why they were put in those positions they are in or maybe they just don't care what happens to our children, the ones they should be thinking of everyday when they get into their offices. Now they are no longer taking my calls nor responding to my messages. It's been 3 weeks now since I started enquiring about registrations but NOTHING has been done by the department and now my son is falling way behind with school work. Anyone, Please assist.
I had a cellphone contract with Autopage since 2010, it was a 24month contract with an option to extend to another 24months. Around last year February/March I started receiving different billings on my statements each month, I quarried to Autopage because I had a fixed instalment to pay (R290), not fluctuating instalments. I was then sent from pillar to post, I was never given a straight answer or something in writing. I told them I won't pay until I get the right corrected statement.<br> <br> Then my online My-account login site was blocked and a couple of months after I got an email stating that I have to pay for my contract or they will begin with legal proceedings. I still requested clarification on the billing system they used and the corrected statements but I never received that. But Autopage continued charging me for services I was not using because my phone was blocked. <br> <br> Last week I received a call and an email from VVM attorneys on behalf of Autopage telling me to pay a sum of R14000. I'm now confused and surprised about this huge figure since no-one from Autopage responded to my requests. <br> <br> Peter please help.
