SmartFares advertised the best price on return tickets. I booked and paid BUT the deducted amount was MORE than was advertised! Then they wanted MORE money to secure the flights, I refused and was eventually promised the tickets at the paid amount. Waited for 6 hours, no tickets! Again contacted them online (phone numbers do not work). They AGAIN wanted MORE money sighting a price increase although the airline price remained the same on the carrier website. They again committed to the original paid amount although at this point I had already declined and asked for a refund 6 TIMES! After much hassle I got the tickets canceled and received a full refund (within 24 hours). Do not use SmartFares, you will not save!!! Book with the carrier airline directly!

I'll keep this short and sweet.

My Vodacom experience.
So after a total of 4 fraudulent sim swaps (and numerous other attempts) on my number (never mind changing my personal information numerous times and placing RED FLAGS all over my account), having my number blocked without any notification, countless hours on the line with customer care, countless visits to Vodacom outlets, being billed ridiculous amounts like R 27328, R 4196 and R 6282 (I seldom... use more than R 1000) and SO MUCH FRUSTRATION FROM NOT BEING ABLE TO USE MY PHONE FOR MONTHS, I finally managed to cancel my Vodacom contract that I had had for probably 10 years. Vodacom is utterly useless and cannot keep their customers information secure! Told Vodacom that I wouldn’t pay a cent because of early cancellation. They agreed on the contract cost, but I am now forced to pay for the handset. Fair? I think not! I contested this and was promised a call by one of the Vodacom seniors…still waiting for that call… Once helpful staff at Vodacom in Midrand are now simply ignoring my emails. And now I might get stuck with a bad credit rating for not paying up, after all of this frustration, after all of Vodacom's incompetence…? What happened to good service delivery?
#vodacom
#vodacommustfall
#vodacomsucks
