Avoid RJ Cars like a plague-ridden leper. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this establishment. My experience with them was a textbook example of how not to run a car dealership. Let's start with the bait-and-switch pricing. An advertised R89,990 magically morphed into R99,990 upon arrival, only to be "corrected" after I pointed out their blatant deception. A "mistake," they called it. I call it a deliberate attempt to fleece unsuspecting customers. Then, there's the salesman's blatant dishonesty. I specifically inquired about rust, accident history, and oil leaks. I was assured, unequivocally, that the Chev Aveo was pristine. Lies. All lies. The rear bumper was a patchwork of poorly app**** body filler, the rear rim was dented, and rust was visible above the rear window. It was as if the salesman was blind, or simply didn't care. "Didn't notice it," he claimed. Right. The negotiation process was equally farcical. After initially offering R80,000 to "compensate" for their misrepresentations, they abruptly reneged, demanding R85,000. This flip-flopping suggests a complete lack of professionalism and a blatant disregard for their customers' time. To change the price while I was on my way to close the deal shows a level of disrespect that is truly astounding. RJ Cars operates with a level of dishonesty that borders on ********. Their sales tactics are manipulative, their vehicle inspections are nonexistent, and their word is utterly worthless. If you're looking for a transparent and trustworthy car-buying experience, look elsewhere. RJ Cars is a black hole of deceit, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
