I just tried to order a pizza from Bella Pizza in Lakeside. I looked at their online menu, phoned through and place my order. The website quoted the price of the Pizza to be R66.50. However, over the phone they charged me R71 something. When I asked why there was a difference, I was told that the website was incorrect and that the price remained the same. They had also charged me the incorrect R71 something on a different occasion and I had not noticed. As far as I am concerned, that is false advertising and it is illegal.
My mother's telephone had been faulty for three weeks. I had been phoning Telkom almost daily to try to get someone to come through to fix my mother's phone. I had been lied to, brushed off, stood up and even had someone put down the telephone on me when I told her that she was speaking rubbish (I had neither sworn nor shouted at her).

The Cape Town call center and in particular Mogamat Abrahams and Raaida Hope, appears to be way superior to that of the Johannesburg branch. Mogamat organised an appointment for me last Friday - but the technician failed to pitch. After many tries I finally got through to the CT branch again where Raaida tracked him down for me. Mogamat again organised an appointment and the technician finally arrived within 30 minutes from my call. The Johannesburg branch had just fopped me off minutes earlier by saying that they would \escalate"the matter for me (AGAIN!) and stating that it was impossible to contact the technicians. Clearly that was a lie. Mogamat did the \""impossible\"" within minutes. Well done Cape Town Call Center. Call Centers are a pain but at least you tried to really help"
