I bought a car in August with warranty, only started with using the car mid September because of the paperwork delay from my salesman James, I told James that the boot spoiler was loose and he did nothing about it, now the breaks, shocks and some parts are worn out, I’ve driven the car for less than 2 months and am told that I have to pay R20K for a car that was roadworthy according to them, this is a rip off they sold me a broken car for a price of a brand new car.
We applied for the payment break as my husband’s company deals with conferences, after the months my husband sent an email requesting an extension but no one responded to our surprise we hit a call that they are repossessing the car, we then had to get a loan to pay R37000 and went to the head office to try and make arrangements but were told that the person dealing with our account will call us it’s over a month an no one had called when you call their call center you are taken from Cape to cairo, we thought the right procedure is to speak to a banker I order to make arrangements even re finance instead of loosing the car. We are being treated unfairly and I don’t think we would have gotten the same treatment from Standard bank or Absa.
I am disappointed with Direct Axis, I settled the loan in June and sent them proof of payment until now I have not been refunded after several calls, they are unable to pay me back the excess I paid. This is pathetic, the last call made wasmadewith ref bax23309j/2782020 and assisted by Nona
