I purchased a bed on the 23 September 2025 at Vencasa Canal Walk. The Sales assistant (Sean) advised me that the mattress will arrive in 8 working days. He contacted me a day later and advised that there 'was a misunderstanding' and that the stock will only arrive in late November or early December, this is 2 months later. i have heard nothing from them since and when i prompted them for an answer a month later, they first advised they are trying to get it 'in time' whatever that means. Then later in that same conversation they advised that he has spoken to the CEO and the feedback was not positive, the bed will not make it to Cape Town before Christmas. They contacted me today advising that the bed will only be here on the 24th February 2026, this is over 5 months later. Their dealings have been totally misleading and not at all willing to assist in any manner. I must say they did ask if i wanted one that in their own words was not in a great condition but is new and only has a few stains on it alternatively i can take two singles push it together. That is their solution. i spent almost R40,000.00 on a mattress and some accessories in that store and this is how they treat their customers. They are not forthcoming at all with regards to a solution i must merely wait. The way this has been handled is unacceptable, ********* and damaging to customers.
Vodacom customers beware Hi all please be aware of vodacom or Elite mobile calling to offer you vodacom products. They are scam artists and will literally rob you with their false advertising and offerings. They called me to offer to upgrade my package, i was currently paying R948 for 1200 minutes and 5 gig data. they offered me unlimited voice calls and 30 gig data for R1288. I asked the sales agent to repeat the amount 3 times as i have had this happen to me in the past where they do not provide you what they say they will. After the 3rd time i agreed to upgrade my package. Low and behold at month end they deducted R1899 from my account. When i called them (30 minute call to get someone to help me) they admitted the sales agent made a "mistake" and they cannot offer me what the sales agent agreed to. BUT now they can offer me a package for 800 minutes for R1180 which is less minutes that i had for more money as all of a sudden the contract that i had no longer exists! Even though they made the "mistake" they want me to take the offer and cannot give me what they promised. i have been on the phone with them almost 10 times now and atleast 15 minutes per call but they just keep saying sorry your package no longer exist and i just have to accept this new deal which is more expense and offers less. Their service is absolutely pathetic and as you can see they are scamming people. they have deducted my account incorrectly, R700 more than their offering and still they do nothing. i have been a client of vodacom for 25 years and this is the treatment i get. i can honestly say i wont enter into new contracts with them going forward
Please be aware of vodacom offering to migrate your package. i had a red plus package paying R948 a month for 1200 minutes and 5GIG data. they offered to migrate me to a package of limitless minutes and 30 GIG data for R1200. As this had happened to me previously i asked the agent 3 times to confirm the amount i would pay and he said 3 times R1200. On receiving my bill, i noticed that they were billing me R1900. i called to question my bill, they now advised me that the sales agent had made a mistake and the cost is not R1200 but R1900 (they did confirm as well that they listened to the voice call and their agent was wrong). so i advised them that if they made the mistake to put me back on my old package. This package suddenly no longer is available so i can either keep what i have which is R700 more than they said or i can go to a lower package than i initially had which is also now more expensive This is the second time this is happening to me so its a norm for them. This is a complete scam so be aware of what they are offering you and ask them to send it to you in writing. i have been a customer of vadacom for over 20 years but i am now definitely cancelling my contract, and will fight this
