Running a 4Star B&B we need internet provider services to serve our guests and to run our business. This includes CCTV cameras. In addition, we want to be able to provide German TV via internet. The Telkom line could only provide max 4 mbps, insufficient for the ob. The Computershop offered a 10 mbps service via arial link @R1650 per month. We signed the contract and TCS installed all necessary hardware for a hotspot facility in the B&B (and we paid R15,000 for it).

The contract reads "This links directly back to our offices at 8 High Street where we have a SAIX gold fibre connection and a MTN microwave to fibre connection. All our packages are completely uncapped and unshaped, run at an 8:1 contention ratio and allow for a VOIP connection if you wanted to do away with Telkom completely."

However, we never since end 2015 got anywhere near the contractual 10 mbps, run at an 8:1 ratio. As published on Face Book throughout the year we get around 1,89 mbps down and 0,5 mbps up. The last publsihed on 0n 2nd December 2016. Serveral mails to the provider requesting improvement and dispatching of a technician remained unanswered.

This is borderline fraud.
