I've been buying from takealot for a while now with very few problems till now. I bought an item from them & it was too big, same day I booked a return, that was 2 weeks ago. First I'm told I booked the return wrong & they will fix it with booking a new one for me, then will send a driver to collect, nothing happened, twice I went through the help process & only got emails saying sorry for the inconvenience & they will sort it out, soon as I asked for a refund, then more excuses came out how they still working on it with the right department, yet 2 weeks later, I'm still sitting waiting for the package to be collected & a return to be booked for me as promised.
Where where with them for over 20 years, till the bank let people go, end of March 2025 our medical aid stopped & got told we owe R7k, which we managed to sort out after a few months, suddenly get a horrible letter from bankmed today, we owe R5800, which has not been paid or settled & they handed us over to credit bureau & we are marked as bad payers with a blacklisting ahead that we won't get any contacts or credit, yet the last time we called them, it was settled & haven't heard anything till today. They are a bunch of ****mers, *****ers. Don't trust them ever. Stay away. I will take this to court if it comes to it & make them pay us big time.
I've had not much issues with takealot for a few years now, suddenly I want to return an item for a refund, it's almost a week of waiting & nobody has come to collect & no refund either, almost like they just forgot & stuff you.
Been using yaga for a while now, suddenly I cashed out a week ago & still no money. Looks like they have ****** the money i needed.
**** service, my car papers where to be delivered today the 15 of December, waited all day as I need them urgently, nobody comes, while I'm helping my sick wife take a bath, they call me, I miss the call & told they cant deliver if I don't answer the call, yet other couriers hoot when they arrive. I sent a message to the driver that I'm home waiting & they don't even bother to read it.
I will never buy from them again, ordered more then a month ago & have not heard anything, money gone, last update was the 17th November, since then silent, no word from this place or courier, money & parcel gone.
I got an order on Sunday, which I got ready & booked on Sunday, Monday comes, no courier, Tuesday, no courier, finally Wednesday I call ram & ask what's going on, she promises me they will collect before end of today & still nothing. I cant stand working with ram couriers, they lazy, they don't care & liers.
Looks like I've been ****med after years of emails from iHeartDogs, always says buy this & feed 40 dogs, I finally placed an order on the 7th November 2025, got the order invoice & nothing since, when I got on thier site to track the order, tells me no order found. There goes my money. How can they support looking after dogs & ****med people for money. They need to be closed down. Wonder if they not using the dog support as a side thing to draw people in & the place doesn't even exist.
Glad they finally making you understand where your parcel is with wattsapp, but the drivers need to learn manners, they rock up at the gate & sit & hoot so many times for no reason, even when I was at the door, then they smoking in the car with your parcel, when you bring it inside, it stinks & my wife is sensitive to smoke with asthma.
I've been buying & selling off this site for a while, but lately when things go wrong, support is no help, like today, asked a seller for some discount, they complain that their stuff is already cheap & I must look other places, I went for the buy anyway on the normal price, suddenly get a message the order is canceled with all the excuses under the sun & yaga only defends the seller. Sellers want the price, but as soon as you order they have excuses.
