I have been a customer of MP Solar for over five years. Initially, I had a 3KW system installed, and recently I upgraded to a 5KW system and converted my geyser to solar. I am extremely satisfied with the high quality of materials and workmanship provided by MP Solar. However, what truly stands out is the exceptional after-sales service and support delivered by Peiter and his team. I commend them for their outstanding work and look forward to continuing my association with MP Solar for another five years.
I thought dealing with the municipality or home affairs was bad, sadly I was mistaken!! The lack of service and ownership in your customer care department is shocking! I sold my car over December and called Cartrack to arrange for a de and re-installation, I advised the consultant that the car has already been sold and is with WE Bay Cars in Midstream so that we need to urgently make arrangements. I gave them all the information I have to make the arrangements. I had to call 4 times to find out where are they with the process and each time there is an excuse of they cannot get hold of we buy cars or they do not know who to speak to and every time I help them with information with no success. What is shocking is that if I did not call myself to get an update, no one would call me back to say there is an issue! No ownership or follow up whatsoever! On the other had your accounts department calls me almost everyday asking for the R870 for the de and re installation cost - so proactive to get money but your after sales is nonexistent! The last time I spoke to a person I told him, that I cannot do his job for him, please take ownership of this and make the arrangements, if you cannot get hold if them call me back and do not just make a note and leave it there – to no avail. Because Cartrack has been so slow the car ahs now been sold and the new owner is not consenting to be contacted, my insurance require a tracking device and I REFUSE to pay for an additional one based on your employees incompetence! I need someone that can make decisions to call me to resolve this today! I need you to install a new device in my new car as required by my insurance company with no cost to me!
Too often we as South Africans become complacent with substandard service, the lack of service gets exaggerated when you work with International clients on a daily bases and get used to exceptional service but one get so disappointed when you deal with most local South African businesses or companies because of substandard service. I have been a client of MP Solar for over a year now and have been building my grid-tied system with them in increments and the one thing I have been worried about was the after sales experience should anything go wrong. Today that fear was smashed by EXCEPTIONAL service by Pieter, the owner of MP solar and his technician Stephan. I called Pieter 09:30 to inform him that I have a problem with my inverter and that I did not know what to do, expecting him to say they are not working during the lockdown there is not much he can do I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did Stephan his technician arrived 30min later, Stephan respected the Governments instructions for social distancing and sanitizing protocols– Super impressed! After 20min, my new inverter was installed and all my power restored, Stephan went the extra mile to inform me that because of the size and output of the new inverter it will have to be moved and that he will arrange everything for me and come do that after the lockdown as this was not essential like lack of power – again respect! MP solar, you have a client for life and looking forward to expanding my system with you! Very happy client!
