So the store Sole Candy in Cresta Mall

In December 2016 I lay-byed a pair of high heel shoes for the amount of R700 .Payed a deposit of R210 , I later decided that I no longer want the shoes it is to high and it will a waste will just be laying in my cupbord .So I asked a friend of mine to please cancel the lay-bye gave receipt as I was not available at that time .To my surprise the shocking news I got ,that I cannnot cancel the lay-bye I first need to pay the total amount of shoe which is R700 .First of all there are no lay-bye contract term and conditions on the receipt .I then decided to go to the store and asked to cancel lay-bye the store assistant yes was very helpfull and said yes sure, she then called the owner and advise that there is a customer that would like to cancel lay-bye ,to my surprise the store assistant advised me that they will be chargeing me 30% cancelLation fee of the value of R700 of the shoe and not on the deposit .That is the first that I have heard of such and it does not appear on the receipts terms and conditionation .I then asked to speak to the owner Carl Ricter which had such a diggusted attitude telling me that sorry for the inconvience but am not getting my money back . Asking me who is going to buy the shoe now that I am cancelling the lay-bye .where there was plenty more of stock in store .So the shoe never went out of the store what happend to consumer right .So one must now be giving money away , where tommorrow some one els is going to purchase the same shoe .where I now am being ripped off . To top it off I advised him that this is not fair I will be taking it futher and he was like yes go ahead you are more than welkom here is my details .People stay away do not lay-bye anything at Sole Candy Cresta what a money making scheme
