Three months after I requested to Mrs. Chantal Rudman, owner of the Olivelli shop in Norwood, to be refunded for the deposit of my wedding dress, I still haven't received any money from her. I contacted the headquarter and they told me that Mrs. Rudman being in the incapacity of proving that she used the money to book my dress (no receipt, no bank statement...), she is left with no option but refunding the deposit. She was supposed to send me two weeks ago the plan for the reimbursement but she hasn't and is trying to lossing time. Meanwhile she call at my work to insult me: \ I don't give a shit of your situation""; I have a lot of witnesses of the unprofessional way she talked to me and the kind of customer service we can expect from her. Now she is trying to blackmail me; refusing to tell me how she is going to refund me if I don't take out my complain from HelloPeter. I will kindly advise any brides to avoid this shop and this brand;as the headquarters is not escalating this situation."""
On the 3rd of January, I went for the 2nd trial of my gown. After waiting 45 min under the rain even though I had an appointment, I finally could get in the studio. I tried the dress and decided to book it. Mrs. Rudman who hasn't gave me any invoice after the first trial, was not able to find the quote she shown me with my name on it. We still agreed on the price. Apparently she was doing me a big favor with this price, which I appreciated but because of this discount she told me that she won't order me a new dress and I will get the one I just tried even though it was 1 size above mine. She said the dress was modified and was now fitting my size. I paid 50% of the full amount and told her that I will paid the other 50% within a week by wire transfer. Meanwhile my wedding was cancelled. So on the 9th of January, I informed Mrs. Rudman and asked to be refunded. She told me that she don't have the money as she already ordered a new gown and that she will give me 50% of the deposit back when she will have sell the dress. First, sounds worried as she told me previously that she won't order a new dress, secondly why can't she refund me 100% after she sold the dress?
