Happy Bride to be
I have had previous experiences with Olivelli in search of wedding dresses for friends, but this time it was my turn to find the dress. Staff were so warm and welcoming . Having tried on a few dresses at other boutiques, I must say that I felt the most at ease here. The experience is personal, professional and you can't help but get excited for the big day. Rachel helped me pick out dresses that were along the lines of what would work with my body and my venue. She has a very good eye and made the whole process fun and memorable.

Having tried on a few dresses at other boutiques, I must say that I felt the most at ease here. The experience is personal, professional and you can't help but get excited for the big day. Unwelcoming staff and uninformative of process
I went in to find a reception outfit as I am getting married this year. Upon entering the receptionist was not welcoming and just told me that I can go have a look at the dresses. She did not ask me what I was looking for, what is my price range and did not inform me that I would need to make an appointment for a consultation. Very disappointed in their service. Upon exiting I had told the receptionist that no one bothered to assist me and only then did she say I needed to book a consultation. However,it would’ve been nice if she told me this upon arrival and guided me through this process. I saw many dresses I would’ve loved to try on within my price range, however no matter how amazing their dresses may be, it’s not worth it to return to a place that is unwelcoming and unhelpful.

Amazing place!
I had an amazing time at Olivelli from the moment I stepped foot into the Bridal store. I also want to mention that I have been to numerous bridal stores with no success. While you wait you are welcome to help yourself to the coffee bar. Our consultant Yvonne helped me try on almost 25 dresses keeping her patience and enthusiasm as I tried on dress after beautiful dress. At the end I got confused with all the choices. Yvonne pulled a rabbit out of a hat and asked met to try on a dress which I had never even considered. It was my dress!! She was s****ed enough to know what I was looking for even when neither I nor my mom knew! I am so thankful. I got my dress at a discounted price (the cherry on the cake). When speaking with the other staff I was treated with so much love and warmth. I recommend Olivelli to any bride that wants the most out of her bridal experience.

Amazing place!

Never replied to my complaint.
I made a complaint one week ago to their direct email address, as I was unhappy with my appointment and they didnt even reply!! I went to their branch in Northcliff a week ago, I picked out 10 dresses to try on, and out of the dresses only 3 would go on me, I am a size 10-12. They literally only hold stock of dresses in size 4,6 & 8 which was very humiliating- they should WARN you of this before you come!!<br> They STILL charged me the full R250 for my appointment, which only went for HALF the amount of time allocated as none of the dresses fitted. I think it was a huge cheek and I will make sure none of my friends EVER GO there!! They literally only care about your money! I am totally shocked they didn't even bother to reply to my email either! <br> <br>

The moment the lady who assisted me found out that I am going to wear my mothers dress, she started treating me like a criminal. The service was terrible and she directly told me in my face that helping me is a waste because I am going to pay someone else to make me a dress. Never in my entire life have I been so humiliated. I will never recommend Olivelli to any person I know.

Deposit not refunded after 3 months
Three months after I requested to Mrs. Chantal Rudman, owner of the Olivelli shop in Norwood, to be refunded for the deposit of my wedding dress, I still haven't received any money from her. I contacted the headquarter and they told me that Mrs. Rudman being in the incapacity of proving that she used the money to book my dress (no receipt, no bank statement...), she is left with no option but refunding the deposit. She was supposed to send me two weeks ago the plan for the reimbursement but she hasn't and is trying to lossing time. Meanwhile she call at my work to insult me: \ I don't give a shit of your situation""; I have a lot of witnesses of the unprofessional way she talked to me and the kind of customer service we can expect from her. Now she is trying to blackmail me; refusing to tell me how she is going to refund me if I don't take out my complain from HelloPeter. I will kindly advise any brides to avoid this shop and this brand;as the headquarters is not escalating this situation."""
