Absolutely horrible service since June 2025. We have been having constant issues with our Bosch fridge that is freezing and is only 3 years old. The fridge has an extended warranty which we paid a lot for (over and above paying for a premium product like Bosch). We have had service agents come out five times and the fridge was repaired three times. The one service agent from Bosch said that there is nothing further that can be repaired and the fridge will have to be replaced. The fridge is still freezing now in February 2026 and each time Tafelberg has not provided any solution aside from sending service agents out who don't know what they're doing. I have been told that I am not packing the fridge correctly which is a lie, and on occasions when the fridge has been virtually empty, it's still freezing. I also specifically asked one of the agents if the way in which the fridge is packed makes a difference, to which he said no. This is absolutely ridiculous and I have lost so much of money in food that is freezing and spoiling in the fridge. I was offered a loan fridge from the branch today while my fridge gets taken in to be assessed at Bosch's warehouse. The state of the loan fridge is **********, has one shelf and is visibly broken and damaged. Furthermore it did not fit in the space where my fridge was. I am positive no staff member at Tafelberg would use something in that state so to offer it to me as a customer completely undermines me. I am now without a fridge, having to throw out all the food that has gone bad and they have said they can only deliver another loan fridge on Monday (the fridge was taken on Thursday). I have purchased every single appliance in my house from Tafelberg Diep River and after this experience, I will never purchase from them again. Their after sales service is non existent and absolutely unacceptable and I have been beyond understanding in this situation.
