I was fooled into buying shoes I thought were reasonably priced. The advert looked legit on Instagram. The website also looked legit. When the shoes arrived after months of following up, they were nothing like what I paid for. Cheap quality and cheap workmanship. I was told I can only return the shoes to China where they were made - policy and t&c. Obviously that is not an option considering the process and the cost.
During a pandemic where some of us are unable to go to shops and have to shop on line for everything, it is distressing to discover that I cannot use my money back voucher to shop on line. My options are, risk getting sick or let the voucher expire. When I contacted the store, I was politely told that my issues are not the store’s problem. Very disappointing for a long standing good customer.
After years of being a loyal customer, I've finally had it with ABSA. The disrespect shown to customers is truly appalling. Anyone thinking of getting an ABSA will & appointing ABSA to handle the estate at the rediculous fee of 5% of the value of the estate must seriously think again. You will be taken for a ride, be lied to & treated like a idiot and still be made to pay for such treatment. When ABSA says 6 months to finalise an estate, do not be fooled - it is a total lie. No matter how small the estate and how uncomplicated, it will never be 6 months. It's been more than a year and I am still waiting.
