Ever since I have been using PMD, I never want to consider any other insurers
Service received has been quick and excellent and straight forward
I have had a bad experience with the dealer's sales manager Kristof, kristofs@mcmotor.co.za. I have bought my golf 7 GTI clubsport on the 27 October 2020. I have been emailing, sms, and whatsapp'ing him, he just ignore. all i want is the sparekey for the car. even today, i have no sparekey. Last time i went there, i had a chat to him by the dealer in May 2021, and he promised that before i relocate to Polokwane in limpopo, I would have my sparekey, until I relocated to Limpopo, since June, he never responded. It sounds like he cares about customers when they wanna buy car, but when we have complains and outstanding issues, he doesnt attend, especially african black customers.
Policy No: ********** 2*004 Claim No: ********** 8*002*002 Date of claim event: 10 July 2018 Claim in respect of: Motor Vehicle Accident Rejection Date: 22 August 2018 I am writing to complain about my car insurance claim being rejected. On 10 July 2018, I had an accident towards Pretoria, on the wet road due to rain. Submitted the claim to Absa iDirect Insurance where above-claim number was assigned. I had reported the case to the SAPS Sunnyside in Pretoria (AR: 62/07/2018. On 22 August 2018, Absa iDirect Insurance rejected my claim due to the following reasons: • Reasonable due care and precaution was not taken to prevent and/ or minimise the loss or damage as required in the terms of and conditions of the policy • My vehicle was not in a roadworthy condition at the time of the accident, it was found that both rear tyres on my vehicle are below legal thread limit. My car was declared as a write-off after the assessment from Absa iDirect Insurance. On the 19th July 2018, Specialized Claims Services (Sophy Madingoane) called me and emailed to inform me that my above claim number has been approved and I must email Original Registration, settlement letter hand in the car spare key to finalise payment purposes but later I was informed that the claim must be validated. On the 22 August 2018, Loss Adjuster (Mr. Pieter Marx) called me to say my claim is being rejected due to the above reasons. I have then requested the evidence and report from the tyre specialist that Absa iDirect Insurance received, but unfortunately I was told that I am restricted to see the report since Absa iDirect Insurance. How is it possible for me not to get the report from the tyre specialist, what confidential information am I being restricted to see, due all my respect, I cannot tolerate the way I am being treated by Absa iDirect Insurance when comes to claims period, my policy is always up-to-date, but Absa iDirect Insuarance just want to find loop holes and use them against me and they expect me to agree to what the so-called report from tyre specialist that I am restricted to have access to. I have clearly stated to the Loss Adjuster that both my rear tyres got damaged from inside due to the accident, since my car lost control for approximately more than 150 Meters swerving in different directions. I request the scene to be visited as well. I would love to complain for this claim to be reviewed and get all the evidence that my tyres that how did they prove that my tyres were damaged before the accident, I also believe that the tyres of the car carry weight of the car from the inner side of the tyres, hence the more damage was more on the inner side. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Yours sincerely Mr Jabulani Mukhari ********** 825 **********
