I was looking at buying a 2006 Pathfinder from cornwallhill motors , the car was advertised with 129000km on the clock.
On the 24th I went and test drove the car ,had my trade in valued and applied for finance.
On the 30th my finance was approved and I signed the iContract and was to collect the car on Thursday 31st.
I had in the mean time done my own checks on the vehicle and found out that it has a service record with a Nissan dealership that showed that it was serviced in April 2015 at 135000km! I then asked that the deal be placed on hold till I can confirm the details and see if my repurchase was correct. I was told that the car had been serviced at 114000km and that the dealership had marked it as 135000km because of it being an annual service and not the km service. I then decided to rather cancel the deal and take my time to think about it and see if what cornwallhill was suing was true. On cancelling the deal I received the most condescending and sarcastic email from Francois saying he had to turn away 23 people (23 in 2 days ??)and that if I could not afford the car I should be honest and say so.( I can afford it and my finance was approved and signed!!)
