Dealer was not transparent in pricing upfront and conduct. Did not disclose in ad that a mandatory warranty must be bought for R12 000 extra, and also additional out the door admin fees of another R7200 ! When I said his price was too high and way above market, he told me the retail price of the vehicle was R185 200 while I had 2 independent industry valuation reports that had the retail value between R118 000 and R144 000. When I showed him one of the reports he dropped his price in the add quickly the next day with R20 000 without informing me. I left a negative review on AutoTrader but he complained to them and **** to them about what really transpired to have it removed. I have all whatsapp communications saved with proof of everything this dealer said.

They are total fraudsters ....If you really value your money dont waste it on buying a car from them . I bought a car 1 year and six months back and since day ons i should have given the car back , but i flew to jhb to collect the vehicle and they were not willing to assist me to get back yo Mosselbay from Jhb. Since then the car has been in the shop more than i had the luxury of driving it and now they wont help to pay for car breakdown as the warranty they sold wont cover all the damage. I also learned that the vehicle service history was fake and not at all my vehicle service history . They use the cheapest people to work on their cars just to gey a sell .. I say again stay away

We bought a Jeep from Christo sales person, all good until we went to cape town and on our way back the torque converter had issues and needed re-con and had issues with the starter, so we had to be towed and leave the car there for repair, so was a lot stress of all the extra cost repair cost, flight costs and need to do flights again once Jeep is fixed. Christo has communicated often and too see what we can do once we have all the cost involved. The offer made was a fair outcome as it did cost both parties unwanted spends.

I bought my car 2 weeks ago and the dealer insisted that I take a 2 year warranty on a vehicle for R12000.00 I refused the deal and I told them I will try and find my own. I have a lot going on I don't want to agree to something. Then two weeks later while driving on the highway my car stalled. And I had it towed to Mahindra and they told me that the damages are worth R11000.00. And it hit me that the reason they were insisting that I take the warranty was because the car has a problem that would require R12000 to fix. When I called them to tell them, instead of trying to help me and see if their mechanic can sort out the problem they tell me I should have taken the warranty and now they can't help me. I mean a courtesy to help would have been nice. SO BEWARE of CORNWALL HILL MOTORS. They are fraudsters

My son bought a vehicle from this dealer, and what a fresh breeze it was to get brilliant service and friendly staff. The vehicle has a small oil leak, and the dealer immediately said that we must take it to a repair center and they will take responsibility for the repair. Guys, you are indeed a beacon of hope in an industry riddled with fly by night dealers and re-sellers. Thank you for that.

I was looking at buying a 2006 Pathfinder from cornwallhill motors , the car was advertised with 129000km on the clock.
On the 24th I went and test drove the car ,had my trade in valued and applied for finance.
On the 30th my finance was approved and I signed the iContract and was to collect the car on Thursday 31st.
I had in the mean time done my own checks on the vehicle and found out that it has a service record with a Nissan dealership that showed that it was serviced in April 2015 at 135000km! I then asked that the deal be placed on hold till I can confirm the details and see if my repurchase was correct. I was told that the car had been serviced at 114000km and that the dealership had marked it as 135000km because of it being an annual service and not the km service. I then decided to rather cancel the deal and take my time to think about it and see if what cornwallhill was suing was true. On cancelling the deal I received the most condescending and sarcastic email from Francois saying he had to turn away 23 people (23 in 2 days ??)and that if I could not afford the car I should be honest and say so.( I can afford it and my finance was approved and signed!!)
