They are total fraudsters ....If you really value your money dont waste it on buying a car from them . I bought a car 1 year and six months back and since day ons i should have given the car back , but i flew to jhb to collect the vehicle and they were not willing to assist me to get back yo Mosselbay from Jhb. Since then the car has been in the shop more than i had the luxury of driving it and now they wont help to pay for car breakdown as the warranty they sold wont cover all the damage. I also learned that the vehicle service history was fake and not at all my vehicle service history . They use the cheapest people to work on their cars just to gey a sell .. I say again stay away

Ford South Africa terrible after sales service
I have been a loyal ford owner for more than 10 years. A few years back I bought a Ford focus from a dealer in PE. The vehicle is a 2013 2.0 lit diesel. Amazing car to drive. A few years in on about 150 000 km the gearshift started giving me problems. Although the car had a slight shudder since the first day I bought it It did not really bothered me to much. But since the gears started acting all weird and the car not selecting gears like it should the shudder became worse. Long story short I took the car straight to nearest Ford dealer as I only let ford dealers work on car. They told me that they will have to replace gearbox at cost of about R80 000. Now the car resale value at that time was probably only R110 000. So I did not go ahead with repairs. I did a bit of googling and found a massive recall on those specific models in Australia, America and Europe. When I contacted Ford south africa regarding recall on powershift gearbox and clutch issues they said it did not affect SA. After several emails and phone calls I was left to pick up pieces myself. Still as well loyal Ford owner I also bought my wife a 2016 Ford Torneo a year ago. And a year after purchasing the vehicle and after it had issues with turbo and boost it is standing at a Ford dealer with what now would seem a clutch issue. At a cost of R28 000 later to be replaced. I once again did a bit of googling and found a recall on manual gearbox of other variants of my wife's Torneo with exactly the same issues and symptoms. Yet Ford SA says the recall does not come up on my vehicle. I will never buy a Ford in my life again and I will make sure all my friends and family know about my ordeal with ford and their terrible after sales service. NEVER FORD AGAIN
