This company wrongly invoiced me. When I suggested that, as a result of their mistake, the report should be released immediately while the fresh invoice be issued and I arrange additional payment, I was accused of not wanting to pay the balance and told I should have picked up their error. After paying the additional amount, I waited more than 8 working hours to receive the report. After sending numerous reminders I was asked what my problem is.
When they wrongly invoiced me and I suggested they released the report while their invoicing error was corrected, the person assisting demanded to know why I didn't check their invoice and whether I was refusing to make payment. After making full payment, I waited more than 8 business hours to receive the report. I was sending reminders at 2-hourly intervals and eventually got a response asking what my problem is.
Fourways Autotec has had our vehicle for 2 years and 9 months. It required upfront payment for repairs, which was done. Now it refuses to return the vehicle and the amount paid or give us any indication of when the vehicle will be fixed and ready for collection.
I was just a few kilometers over a 100 000km warranty and Ford Protect will not cover the last service. I have paid for the service (as part of the warranty). I do not expect the warranty to continue after the service- I have reached 100 000km (when the warranty ends). I have put up with shoddy service and still sung Ford's praises, but no more! The car is great- the attitude of the warranty people sucks! I am SO glad I didn't extend the warranty!!! My next car WILL NOT be a Ford.
